Keep going - You could try "La paura del buio" (Fear of the dark) of the same Radio Italia Session (Video with lyrics available). Strong suggestion also for "Vent'anni" (Great Video, but you need to check the lyrics also). And not to forget their epic Eurovision performance with "Zitti e buoni" - in US available on Vimeo - geo-blocked on YT

1. New Song is 3 years old. Its the first track on thier 2nd Cd "Il Ballo della vita". Note: To have success in Italy, you have to make songs in italian. You can bet, that the record company (Sony) wants only italian tracks on the cd. The cd was an incredible success with 3 weeks No. 1 and 5 Italian tracks reaching top ten of single charts, but al in italian. 2. Tight play of Maneskin (Speak: MOneskin like MOna Lisa): They are now 20, Thomas (Guitar) to 22, Daminano (Vocals) years old. Founded by Victoria (Bass) and Thomas they start playing together 2015/16 and take it serious. Thier first life playing practice was busking on the main pedestrian zone of Rome, Italy. 3. Bass: You see Victoria using some different basses in the past years. She changes, i think 2020, to the bass you see. Its a Daneelectro "longhorn" bass in its 3rd iteration. The "longhorn" was released in the 1950ies. He was well know in this time for his sound and played by some famous bass players (i.e. Pete Townshend, The Who) but had some difficulties to play. Danelectro (Nat Daniel) is one of the pioneers of electric guitar making. Because they were sold in the 1960ies to MCA and then following false company business politics Danelectro leaves the ranks of serious "to play" guitars. The were refounded in the 1990ies.

I would listen Radio Italia live performance of "La paura del buio". It really shows how skilled players they are AND how good Damiano's breath control really is. Also there's translation in that live so you can appriciate their absolutely haunting lyrics. Of course, in Eurovision grand finale performance you can actually see how many bars that man can actually spit out in one breath.

the instrumental "interlude" is only in the live versions not in the the CD - not sure why - but this is another reason why this band sounds much better in live performaces....

We need more of this kind of outstanding reactions. It’s a pleasure to listen to you. The good news - for you and us alike - is that Maneskin have produced gem after gem. I’ve read in the comments below that people suggest La paura del buio and I’d second that, as I would songs like Zitti e Buoni (the Eurovision contest winner) and Wanna Be Your Slave (which is now one of their biggest hits). But I have the feeling that you’d be amazed by a Led Zeppelinesque song of theirs, For Your Love, which is Maneskin’s brightest gem. And In nome del padre (In the name of the father) and Lividi sui gomiti (Bruises on the elbows) will shock you - Rage Against the Machine would be proud of both songs Welcome into Måneskin’s world

Not new it's from a 2018 album "Il ballo della vita". New songs are those from the album "Teatro d'ira vol. 1" which came out on March 2021. The live is in Radio Italia venue which is small but allows to play live which is all the band wants, it was not a concert but more a promo event. These guys started playing together in 2016when they were 15.15.16.17 and since then they've practically lived in symbiosis, especially in the past 3-4years, they play together, they study together, they really are good friemds. They really are 4 good friends loving eachother and having fun together. If you could see them in concert their energy and connection skyrockets.

VENT'ANNI has a beautiful video but I suggest to stay on a video with translation and read the lyrics line by line while the song plays; You won't regret it!! Songs with the English title are in English. Some shaking your body like "New Song": "For Your Love", "Morirò da re", "Fear for Nobody", "Close to the Top" , "Chosen", "Lividi sui gomiti" ... or even harder and angrier "In nome del padre"... and of course the international hits "Beggin", "I wanna be your slave", "Zitti e buoni". Some darker and more intese: "La paura del buio", "Le parole lontane"... p.s. Please do not react to any song from the Berlin 2021 concert due to technical issues: bad sound. Any other record studio or live or even the performances in X Factor (very very young) worth listening to.

Check out Zitti e buoni - but not studio version, Grand final version from Eurosong - just brilliant stageing .... or Radio Italia live performance of "La paura del buio" - I just can't get enough of their live performances ... but whatever you choose you can not go wrong ;-) ... as for me I kind of prefer their songs writen in italian, but I have to admit they did a great job with english songs too ... and what a great young people, so talented and in the same time they seem to me so down to earth and humble ❤️

This is one of the best favourite songs by the band (their songs are actually all real bangers) and certainly one of my favourites too. Congratulations for your professional reaction, it has been so enjoyable to listen to it.
