This song/video is kind of linked with Torna a Casa. It's about Marlena, the muse- and about feeling far from her. Each of them has their individual relationship with Merlena- Thomas plays, Ethan writes, Victoria and Damiano both have more of a personal identity relationship- Victoria kisses her, and Damiano is made up to look like her. By the end of the video each have been influenced by her but then she leaves- and there's a theory put forward that the muse/inspiration is within you, but they are also continually looking for her. I love how many of their songs are about the nature of art itself and the experience of being an artist. I always feel like Torna a Casa, Le Parole Lontaine, and Moriro da re make a sort of unofficial trio in videos, Marlena first appears in Torna a Casa at the end in the bath after the song asks her to come home- in this one they each have a relationship with Marlena and the muse and it's like internal reflection- then in Moriro da re each become heir own performer and the songs talks about how like with Marlena/inspired is the best kind of life and they'll show everyone what beauty is. I love these three. Also Thomas wrote that guitar melody whilst still studying for his final school exams and it captures me nearly every time.

The song talks about how Damiano, and the whole band feels, when Marlena (the inspiring muse) is far away: “ti sento lontana da me” ( I feel you far from me). He invokes Marlena to take him home because he is afraid of winter and … The woman in the video (Marlena) meets each member of the band individually and at the end of their experience with Marlena they go out alone looking disoriented. The lyrics of the song are poetic and intense and of course everyone can find something that belongs to him/her.

Thank you for reacting to this :-) So pleased to see that you also wanted to do the music video after I spammed you with it ;-) And yes, I know you did react to the song before. This song has gotten a very special place in me now. I think this one is my absolute favourite. The song itself is so beautiful and accompanied by the music video it is just... wow! I can't remember if I ever have told you this, but because of you, I am actually noticing how the instruments work - like, whenever you point something out with the instruments I sit there and just appreciate that you say something, because damn... it is something! For the first time, I have caught myself telling friends that they should hear what every single component does for the songs, which I would never have done before. So thank you for that! Thank you Måneskin for making this amazing song, and thank you Ang for reacting to their music! It is such a pleasure watching and listening to! You are amazing!

the song in the intro with that acoustic guitar has a "Mediterranean" and slightly exotic touch. then later the song gets rougher, even if it keeps its sweet and melancholy style, and reminds me of some typical 90's rock ballads

They will increase the number of English songs for sure. As long as they keep writing also in Italian it will be OK. So far their “Italian” songs were the best as per passion, poetry, musicality, etc. Damiano is unbeatable in his native language.

Angelo, you are discovering the good italian rock. Then, the most espression of this sound now is that of Maneskin, but before was that of PFM !! Listen " Live in USA " in 1974, incredible 47 years ago, you weren't Born yet ! Inside there' s "Celebration", one of their masterpieces, another one is : " Impressioni di settembre ", not in that LP !! Good listen

The lyrics are poetic & the story is sad about a lost lover. “Parole lontane” means distant words or words that are now far away because the person is not there. But, like other songs of theirs it has multiple levels & can be interpreted differently. Others can add more ideas. Great melody & so sad & beautiful. Complimenti!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Ciao Mad Ang.

It would be nice if you reacted to Hatari, they represented Iceland in eurovision 2019. They describe themselves as "anti-capitalist BDSM techno performance art group" and I love them ever since i saw their performance. I'd suggest songs like "KLÁMSTRÁKUR", "ÓDÝR", "Þræll", "SPILLINGARDANS", "Engin Miskunn", they sent "HATRIÐ MUN SIGRA" to eurovision, but it's better to watch the music video since they viewed the contest as a joke and purposefully singed out of tune. They also have a song featuring a Palestinian singer, they showed support by showing Palestine flags on live television after their votes were announced (2019 eurovision was held in Israel), they received death threats after that.
