Damiano is such a fun and chill guy. Although the story with that person grabbing him its very troubling - he had that effect on women since the xfactor when he got labeld as a sex symbol. But they need boundaries, touching people without their consent its not allowed.

How the hell does he not know about how hard Italy was hit with Covid? It was worldwide news, they suffered incredible losses very early on in the pandemic, there were images of people singing to each other from balconies and medical staff collapsing with exhaustion. Italy suffered terribly. As someone from neither the US or from Europe, I am astounded and horrified at the ignorance of that question.

@@natashaavital8713 No, interviewers do not ask questions like that at all, that's an excuse, and not a particularly strong one; particularly when he was taken aback at the fact that they were in lockdown for an extended period. A good interviewer would frame the question in a considerate manner commensurate to the suffering, eg "We all know that sadly Italy were particularly hit hard by Covid, and consequently went into a hard lockdown for a substantial period of time, how were you personally and as musicians affected by such a tragedy and/or the lockdown?" Framing the question in such a manner would show knowledge of the event, empathy with the tragedy and still allow them the opportunity to answer the question.

The fact is, I think an interviewer need to prepare at his best to know the background of each question. If you are not sure, don't ask. I am really cool with it, but situation was so bad that many Italians just don't like to speak about it. I didn't feel is question too respectful. Even if, of course, everybody was touch by pandemia. Not only Italia.
