They are great. And seeing this after Chosen, you can see how yes, they are refined and have a great team etc, but the core didn't really change. That energy and chaos and desire to communicate with the public was there then and is there here, in a better version.

This was at the very end of their last tour and Damiano at one point mentioned that his voice wasn't doing so well -- but even so, all the performances from this Tokyo series are so good. You can hear his upper range (though somewhat weakened by his ailing voice) in the song Time Zone from this same concert. (It's still a beautiful performance, though.) He also gets up into falsetto on the song "Honey Are U coming". The studio recording version, or the acoustic live version of "Honey..." from The First Take channel are good ones to check out.

Hmm interesting … well touring can be hard on the voice for anyone and the fact that his falsetto was still there is actually a good sign if you ask me - I really only have 2 other songs that I’ve seen to compare it to so for me I’m still learning the nuances of his voice but I really enjoyed the whole performance 😊😊 Thanks for the info appreciate it ✌️

I love how they make it an actual show. Like sure, Thomas playing behind his head isn't necessary, but it adds to the spectacle... Like there are guitar players who can play well while sitting quietly on a chair, but put them on a stage, and they're boring as fuck. Damiano actually has malformed vocal chords, which means that his distorted voice while singing, is actually natural for him, rather than something he has to force. He 'can' sing cleanly, but it's more natural for him to sing the way he does.
