This song was a version that Mónica made as a tribute to the great Camilo Sexto at the 60th gala of Spanish Television. Camilo was impressed with this version and before his death he recorded "Camilo sinfónico", where this song by Mónica appears. Monica did not want to record a studio version of the song, since as she herself said, it would be impossible to do it with as much feeling as she did in that live show. It is a marvel, accompanied by a symphony orchestra, it leaves you amazed. Thanks for reacting to our Monica again :)

The author of this song is Camilo Sesto but Mónica Naranjo has made a very different and symphonic version that I like and it excites me more !! Camilo Sesto was shocked and inspired by this version of Mónica and congratulated Mónica and included this version of Mónica in his latest album made in this symphonic style of Mónica called CAMILO SINFÓNICO !! The original song was sung by Camilo Sesto. The performance televisión española (Spain´s national tv station) 60th anniversary. In addition, Monica was one of the four singers that gave a tribute to Camilo Sesto. Camilo loved her performance and the musical arrangements so much, that he decided to record one last album Camilo Symphonic before he passed away. The more you listen to Monica the more you will realize how versatile she it (opera, rock, electronic, tango, gospel, pop, and more). Highly recommend you watch the official video "Jamás" from her conceptual album Lubna. Lubna is album based on a novel and took Monica 7 years to compose the album and pay out of her own pocket since the music company was not willing to pay for a non-commerical album. Monica is talking with Rafaella Carra a famous Italian singer from the 60´s and 70´s who sings in Italian and Spanish and is very popular in Spain and Latin America.
