This song "Europa" by Mónica Naranjo is much deeper and has many more allegories in its lyrics than the song by the band Europe "The Final Countdown" This song by Mónica "Europa" refers to the moral decadence and economic crisis in Europe that triggered the 2nd World War because the population was fooled by the promises of a better quality of life promised by totalitarian regimes such as that of Hitler and Mussolini in exchange for conquering other countries through war, is a criticism of racism and the supremacism of the races, it speaks of "The final solution" the plan of the Naziz to eliminate Judíos and other races considered inferior by the Nazis. Monica mainly gets into a role to play a fictional diva inspired by the German diva of that time Marlene Dietrich who was against the Nazi regime and had to leave Germany.
