I enjoyed this review and I will try to answer a few of your questions, but most cannot be explained haha: The Phone Question: When Lady Raven ran into the bathroom she had Coopers phone and a second phone which is how she was able to livestream to her own fans. Unless that was Coopers daughters phone, but if that's the case idk how she would of logged into her account to go live lmao. Cooper asks for both phones after breaking into bathroom. Why did he push the girl question: He wanted to create a distraction and get all the police officers away from the entrance so they could escape. But once he got to the bottom of the stairs he noticed they were outside the door too. Really dumb move considering there were cameras everywhere and I am sure the FBI would review all the footage if they didn't catch the Butcher that day. Same with air fryer incident, FBI would have reviewed the footage and found out who tampered with the air fryer. This is my question: Why couldn't Cooper just walk out after the show with his daughter? All they were doing was questioning the males, if he was a sophisticated serial killer I am sure he could have easily talked his way out of the concert.

The phone: yeah, I figured that’s how she got a stream up that fast, but…I dunno, it felt sloppy - like, it didn’t feel natural. The push: yeah, that makes sense, I guess, but wow, that and the fryer thing were just really strange. More sloppiness! Yeah, he might’ve been able to talk his way out…man, I don’t even know, so much of this depended on so much convenience…

I thought all the exact same things. Everything was just so convenient. Limo driver just disappears too. I'm guessing the wife was expecting him to come back and so put the stuff in the pie before hand. I think he pushed the girl down the stairs to create a distraction so he and his daughter could leave. Everything he did in this movie felt like one of those video games that give you choices, like "pick up police radio". Or "put oil bottles into fryer" or "take employee's access card" and every option always works out. Supposedly he's a firefighter. My solution would have been to tell my daughter I have a work emergency, and have her sit with the annoying red head lady and her daughter and she can get a ride home that way. And say "tell your mother I'm not sure when I'll be home", then find a good place in the venue to hide until everyone is gone, including the police. Call the wife maybe occasionally to let her know I'm still working so she doesn't report me missing, which would arouse suspicion being the one guy who disappeared from the concert. Then sneak out when it's closed and empty, with a disguise from backstage or dressing room or hoodie maybe, in case they go back and check the security footage. Maybe?

All good points! So was M Night playing Hitman when he came up with this? All of your suggestions sound like something that could’ve led to a less frustrating story, but…who knows? Fact is, I really enjoyed that the drama of his daughter finding out was part of the suspense, so tossing her aside for the final act was strange to me. I try to not judge a movie based on what could have been - just, how is the movie on its own? But man, there are so many instances where other less frustrating choices could’ve really improved things.

My favorite parts were the ghost mom, bad dialogue, nepotism showcasing M. This movie was pulled out of Nights @ss. Lol

Maybe he pulled him and I didn't see. That all happened really fast. I didn't see how he got out of the limo. Found that highly unbelievable due to how many people were surrounding it. She definitely spiked the pie before he came back. It's why she stayed behind she knew he'd come back and I think maybe police did too because they seemed too ready for him. The spoke of the bike was very unrealistic it was just too big. Overall I enjoyed the movie and the suspense that I overlooked a lot of those hole while I watched. @order42show5 ай бұрын
You may be correct - there may be more to this than what we saw, BUT…you’ve got to start with something that’s going to hook people. Unbreakable, for example, set up a universe (we didn’t know it at the time), but it made almost $250M on a $75M budget. Trap, on the other hand, has only made $20M worldwide on a $35-$40M budget. He’ll be lucky to make $35M by the end of the theater run. When you consider most movies on average need 2.5X the budget to be “profitable” (because of print and advertising costs and the cut the theaters get), he doesn’t seem to have made a movie that has resonated with people. Just money-wise, it doesn’t seem like a smart move for a studio to back that. Now, these days, there’s no telling how much they’ll get from streaming, but I just can’t see this going any further. I, for one, thought that it was built so heavily on convenience that I can’t see me wanting to see another, and judging by the buzz from other reviewers, they seem to agree. But stranger things have happened!
