The first half is something special, a box film with a serial killer planking and trying to escape a giant sting operation Then the daughter gets to act and I don't like the term Nepo Baby but this is an exception. Spoiler.... I think some people missed the TWIST. At the table when he was eating the pie with his wife. He says the plan all along was not to catch me at the concert but to catch me at the house. Everyone was in on the plot to get him back to the house and then catch him. They knew he would go back stage. He would use the singer to get out. and she would lead him to the house. The wife found his bag in the car and poisoned him with the drugs in the bag. That was her improvising. That is why all the cops were already at the house. I think that was the ah hah moment we were supposed to get.
@aliciaelliott7847Ай бұрын

Dont they usually have guards riding in the back with highly dangerous criminals they are transporting? If they don't then they really should. Loves this review, I was worried he was gonna take to a person that he already lied to, like he was a managerr a loving dad and a scared employee, and no one was like hey how can u be working here if ur attending the concert, love his performance as a killer, and some shots like the door sence, but then down right hilarious shots like the guy getting kidnapped ahahahaha

I was disappointed that was was a serial killer movie that nobody died in and the ending was horrible.Plus the writing after 35mins makes me think that The Butcher would have been caught already..🤣

It was even harder for me to suspend my disbelief because the whole film was filmed in the general urban area where I live lol…just like Julian

Spoiler review ***** I thought this movie premise and setting was awesome. I went to a taylor swift concert and saw exactly how people were focused on the singer and just not paying attention to their environment so i can definitely believe a killer could go around and do grimy shit without anybody paying attention to him. I thought josh acting was weird because it felt like he was doing a mark Wahlberg impression because thats exactly who he sounded like whenever he was playing the nice dad, or maybe that's just me. Lol im a little upset that the movie wasnt entirely focused on him trying to escape the concert throughout the movie which felt like a bait and switch because i could careless about him and his wife marriage issues, which also i swore and up down i thought the wife was gonna be in on it because that actress also always plays villain roles in other movies so it threw me off when she was the one who snitched on him. Also, there are wayyy too many convenient situations that happen for him such as the him disappearing out of the limo scene. Like no one saw him leave and change out of that limo? Unless someone pulled a jack reacher, hid him, and not say anything, then i could believe it i guess. One last thing, who else thought this movie was gonna pull an unbreakable cameo at the end. I thought for sure bruce willis son was gonna show and be like yeah i found another supervillian, we need to find him or something.
My only only issue with this movie was why was lady raven sooo invested in a person she never met before. They threw me off. But still a great film. And Josh harnett. My boy! Is back lol

It reminded me of a Columbo episode too; how-catch-em rather than a who-dun-it.

Hartnett was top shelf despite the script and M Night made a shameless concert film for his daughter. Shifting to her perspective was a big mistake. Leaving the arena was a big mistake. But for the love of god why didn't he end on the missing bicycle spoke?

😊 I thought the daughter was to be blamed. I was like wow she's a better actor than the dad. I liked how it all turned out. Fun movie. He's a really good dad 😅

The mid-credits scene was the best part 😂

I was never on the edge of my seat except for the very end in that scene that Korey is talking about.

Despite me liking and bopping along to the music i wont deny its a not even subtle nepo film. Which hey, he got people to sign on and agree to it so 🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️

He was dead the whole time!!!! This is his version of hell... he has to face his deepest issues before he accepts his fate... reminds me of that episode of black mirror...when the crowd watched the murderer run from "killers" who were all actors participating in tormenting convicted murderers... maybe it's something like that ?
