A good remedy that never gets that rust right out is just drop it in vinegar for a few hours and use a wire brush to clean it out after wash it off thoroughly and dry thoroughly put a tad bit oil like wipe it with oil on a micro fiber rag or whatever doesn’t leave lint or dust behind and it’ll be brand new again. It’s the cheapest way to remove it tbh and it works perfectly

Call SW and they will send you a new guide rod. I just did for my Shield 40 M2.0 PC. The guide rod is rusting too.

Yo JB I have that same problem where I can only fit 20 in the mag, floyd have a video where you sand the corner a piece of the mag and ever since I did it I can now fit 21 but it is tight though and when you chamber with 21rnd its kinda but I can fit 21 in the mag plus 1 in the chamber

You make me miss my 2.0 compact bro. But I really love my 19x/ 29 carry combo. You should look into 10mm it’s an awesome round. Also try some slip 2000 clp on your guns. I think it’s a great clp.

JB, a better choice of oil would be Mobil 1. I have used Mobil 1 on my firearms for over 30 years. A quart will last you a very very long time. I have no rust issues. Mobil 1 is a much better lubricant than Hoppe's, and better at rust prevention. I enjoy your videos, keep on training. Also, dump the multipurpose cleaner and lubricant. Get a good cleaner, and a good lubricant. What you have invested in your firearms, a dedicated cleaner, and a dedicated lubricant are cheap insurance. Get the product that does its job.

I had a jam on my M&P 2.0 I didn't notice for a while but my ejector was slightly bent. I suspect that jam caused this, I wonder if this is typical of these guns in a jam. I bent it back straight, but it looks like you have to take the whole thing apart if I needed to replace the ejector if bending it back doesn't work.

I would go ahead and get it replaced once it's bent it seems like it's already a weak point the next jam could cause a catastrophic malfunction. I haven't heard many people having that issue though

@@JBshootz I was going to order the whole sear block to have a backup in case it breaks off. I also had a couple jams in my 1911, check the ejector in that one and it looks perfect. I think it's the difference between the 1911 being built like a tank vs. the half poly half steel S&W.

I believe it's a few ounces heavier yes. Most of the m&ps weight comes from the thicker slide. You don't really notice it loaded in my opinion

Well what made me try the smith in the first place was the deal on it at the time. Once I got a few rounds through it I noticed I was faster out of the holster(grip angle) and on the trigger. It came with everything I did to my 19x out of the box for less. So I through some money at with upgrades and never looked back. Plus I think they look better

Clean your holster and use some gun oil so you can get the gun in and out a lot easier. I do that with my mag holsters as well. That way, it hydrates the holsters as well. I also oil up my spring as well. I also run my smith&wesson performance center wet as well. Just like to make sure she is good to go. Get a snake to clean the barrel and maybe lub that as well.
