Nice. Id love to see some of those loads tested on a Paul barrel style meat target. I’ve been looking at testing some of the Lehigh bullets in the hornet.

I saw him test 9mm which I guess is pretty similar-ish and he used the term "annihilated" the orange lung-tissue

@@ShastaBean wanna laugh? I got people insisting that CCI never made 45 grain gold dot 22 mag in the early 2000s. What’s funny is I have over 10 boxes of it and have done videos testing it.

@@jw-sigp2258gotta love the (don't)know-it-alls. Is it good stuff? Or not & why they stopped?

No popped primers but they look like they are on the edge.

I should probably include picture of some other primers for comparison, but these don't look any different than SS198 with this gun. Vs SS197 these have slightly higher/fatter raised ridge around the center. Pierced primers coming in next vid....stay tuned.

So what bullet performed best in gel?
@ShastaBean4 ай бұрын
debatable...depends on what a person prefers. I put in the link to the 5.7 gel playlist - appears near the end of this video. Pretty wide range of results. After seeing what the fragmenting/varmint .308 rounds do (lift block 1.5 feet off table) compared to ordinary speer or hornady (doesn't lift block 1.5 feet off the table)...I've come prefer stuff that does its entire damage within about 10 inches, maybe less. I'll stagger or alternate rounds in a carry magazine and plan for the Lehigh and Raptor 30 to be first, followed by the Hammer, then REX, then maybe a BT. That pretty much covers all terminal results I think to be effective at stopping a (javelina) threat. The Maker 37 gr REX is the bullet used in this video, loaded by R&R. kzbin.info/www/bejne/gGaQXpiff96of6c
