i hate when people suggest the "type of people" that should use a gun. The gun is for whoever likes it. I've shot and owned quite a few different pistols. I don't have any issues with arthritis and i'm not old. I just like the gun. I like the way it looks, feels in my hand, and shoots. Not only that, with a few mods this gun looks SICK. It looks good with no mods too. Just saying....its all user preference. Don't not buy the gun because the reviewer suggests its for elderly or people who are weak. This gun is AWESOME. Very easy to use and shoot. Thats what you want with an Every Day Carry.

I'm a dude with no physical impairments to my operation of a handgun, and I find myself fawning over my girlfriend's 380 EZ. It is a very impressive feat of engineering in and of itself. The logic involved in the safeties installed and the administrative procedure planned for in terms of newer shooters being pushed toward safe practices is something to be admired.

I was looking for something for my wife, for a house gun. She is very good with my SR9 and SR40, but she has rheumatoid arthritis in her hands will soon need something easier to manipulate. After watching this video, I ordered the PC, EZ9 in gold color. She loves it! So do I. So I ordered a second one in silver. She immediately claimed the silver one as hers! We shoot these so much on a SALUTE duelling tree, the EZ9s are always dirty. Therefore, I felt it necessary to order a third one, in silver, before I retire (As an LEO, I can legally buy these little gems in California. Once I retire, I cannot)! So we now have a total of THREE, PC EZ9 pistols! Thanks for the great video

I'm a new shooter with arthritis in both hands and wrists. Because of that, I didn't think I'd ever be able to handle anything more than a .22 caliber which isn't ideal for defense. So I got the Performance Center version of this gun in 380 and I love it. It has quite a bit more recoil then my .22 obviously, but to my surprise, I CAN still handle it. Only thing I don't like is that after shooting it for a while at the range, that sharp grip safety did irritate my hand. However, in a self defense situation it wouldn't be a problem. I got a good pair of gym gloves to shoot with at the range and problem solved. I can even shoot this gun with one hand and still manage the recoil enough to shoot accurately. I highly recommend it.

I am a big guy 6'2" 250 but I have to admit I love the fact of their performance center version is so soft to shoot, it just makes shooting that much more enjoyable. Grip safety/back strap safety is a constant topic on the ez series. Let's talk the two different grip safety's. The performance center has the higher raised safety. This does 2 things: it's easier to disengage the safety feature and increases the diameter of the grip as well as changing the grip angle by changing the back strap angle. Along with the flat trigger and the lighter overall weight, the feel of the gun is different. A feel I happen to like more (I have the ez 9 and ez 380 performance center). I purchased the ez 9mm with concerns about the grip safety. Turns out with this frame (the frames are identical between the 9mm & 380), I prefer the higher raised performance center grip feel. I generally don't put more than 50 rounds thru them during a range visit and haven't had any pinch/pain issues from the grip safety. I enjoy shooting both but, might trade in the 9mm for a performance center 9mm. Btw, my wife doesn't like either gun's feel. She does like my p365 though. Everyone is different. I just don't understand some people deciding they don't like a gun by looking at it without holding it much less shooting it.

I was a small engine mechanic and ended up damaging the Blood supply to my Lunate bone. I ended up having the bone die causing the bones to the right and left of the lunate bone fracture due to the messed up geometry. The whole time I was still fixing tractors and equipment. The doctors finally figured it out after about a year. I had a Proximal Row Carpectomy performed where they eliminated a row of bones. I lost almost all my movement but have 100% of my grip strength for now. I overwork it because shit has to get done. They say with light use it could last 10yrs. I’m on about 4yrs of stupid hard use. When it fails, I will have to have a total wrist fusing with a plate placed on each side of my hand. I worry about what I may end up with. That’s one of the reasons I put my .45’s in the safe and almost exclusively shoot 9mm.

I don't know, maybe I don't shoot enough pistols to know better, but that's like, my opinion man.
