I think dark trousers are the way to go in terms of a flattering fit across the tummy. The black trousers weren't great, maybe needed a size up and longer length, but overall black hides the belly much more than bright colours.

I feel your pain re jeans I live in leggings skinny jeans and dresses I can’t find any jeans which suit me Those second pair were so close to being the ones but I agree not high waisted enough and no to the rips This is why I dislike clothes shopping I always get so deflated so well done for ending it on a positive note x

Highly recommended a darker wash denim - I find I'm far more comfortable in a darker wash, but that's just my preference 😊 I hope you find some jeans that you love soon, jeans shopping is so tricky. I actually loved the ripped jeans you tried! This reminded me so much of my own experiences in M&S changing rooms - I'd come out so defeated because nothing ever seemed to fit well. I feel they have a habit of cutting their clothing quite boxy, with no attention to draping/flow of fabric & that doesn't work for a lot of us 🤷‍♀️ (I love M&S, I just don't have luck with most of their clothing) Always enjoy these 'in the changing room' style videos & would love to see more 🥳

Trina I feel like some stores make their plus size clothes for a specific plus size body type. Like those plus size women with small waists, big thigh and little to no belly fat. I can rarely find clothes in those type of stores. I need a store that factors in belly’s and butts and waists in their design, without the clothes being frumpy.

Mom jeans OR Morriston clothing line straight leg high waisted are a winner. Also alien press have a set of trousers simular to those with the pleats but with a long length waistcoat which I think ewould work well.

I am a similar shape as you, and i think with the front pleat trousers it looks better when wearing shape ware. Gives a cleaner appearance. I prefer darker jeans with a slightly flared leg as they balance out my overall shape. Sometimes, skinny jeans emphasise my mid section. I enjoy your clothes journey as your shape changes.

Mom jeans were great new look Tori jeans are high rise and come in 3 leg lengths. I love them so comfy but they do stretch out a little bit more so in the lighter wash.

Hi I really felt for you trying things on Ive the same problem myself regards a lower tummy :seriously who do M&S get to try these clothes on in the larger sizes as they don’t seem flattering at all in the larger sizes and were all not 5ft 6plus in height such a nightmare shopping for clothes 🥺

You need to go back and pick those grey trousers! They looked soo good on you. Even better than mom or skinny... pleats just hide all. Try them, I did and currently skinny are not an option 😅 I am also an apple shape. Love your content btw! ❤

Have you ever considered going into ladies maternity section? When no one is looking pop in there. They have really gorgeous clothes and while you are slimming down try on their selection of trousers..jeans...housecoats etc. Really comfortable and good looking items. No one needs to know and if they ask tell them it was a gift.😊

Mom jeans are the hardest jeans to pull off I don't know why people are recommending them to you either high waisted straight leg which is closer to your skinny jeans comfort level and is a nice thick denim will hold in your tummy or a wide leg palazzo style jean which is fitted around the waist and bottom to pull you in then gets wider as it goes down from your hip rather than your knee and a stretch jean in a flare creates an hour glass figure same fit at a skinny jean just flares from the knee bootcut exactly the same just doesn't flare as much any of these jeans would look far better than a mom jean I'm a size 10 and they make me look huge weird fitting Baggy around your tummy and crotch then wider at your thigh and narrow at the ankle that's the shape were all trying to hide no make worse 😂❤
