Surprisingly my favourite was the tights. They all seemed to have similar results. I think a top and shorts combo would be more practical than a bodysuit x

Thank you Trina. I was totally stuck on what shapewear to purchase. After watching this great video, I placed an order with Shapermint. Plus … I used your code, thank you so much. I do like the smoothed out look when you tried everything on. I had gastric sleeve surgery in July and have lost 5 stone so far. Unfortunately everything becomes soft and wobbly lolol😁🤗. The tights did better than the shorts but the second shorts was better than the first ones. If you want to try a top piece that is better for lower hanging bellies and taller people you could try their shaper camy. I love the one I have and it has adjustable straps on it.

You are a great.presenter! I really enjoyed your comparisons and genuine feedback. You look to be a lot taller than me, I'm just a smidge under 5 feet. I agree with you on what looked the best. I bought a couple of their bras last year and although they felt comfortable they weren't as supportive as I hoped. Again, great video, great feedback. I've never been into wearing shapewear as it was so uncomfortable. Recently I wanted a bit of support round my middle (I have fibromyalgia and sometimes having something a bit tight around me helps with pain). I debated with Shapermint but ended up trying HeyShape. Their bodysuits are brilliant, nice material, supportive, comfy and long enough for my long torso. I do want to try the Shapermint camis though for summer. Q

Absolutely think the last body suit with the adjustable straps looked really good and your bum looked fantastic. Others were more or less the same smoother but not as much . Well done with your weight loss journey.

I am going to be truthful, there is very little difference. I didn't bother on my weight loss journey - I kept going until I got to a BMI of 21 and then had my tummy tuck done. However, I do have a smoother now for when I am wearing something very fitted and I am looking for a neat line.

Taking into consideration the practicality I believe the tights are the best for you but the very last bodysuit actually smoothed out your body the best so maybe something to consider if you won’t be wearing it all day

I've never worn any shapewear but if I would I would go for the thights. I also have a long torso and it makes it difficult to find longer tshirts. My fat is kinda all over my body so I don't feel the need to hide my belly, but the part I do want to cover (the only part about me I don't like) is my FUPA (Fatty Upper Pubic Area). Whatever jeans or pants I wear, my FUPA causes my pants to bunch up there and creates a massive, unsightly cameltoe. I used to go for A-line thirts but I can't seem to find longer ones anymore. The ones I seeonline that cover the models pubic area, are too short for me. I need 70cm tshirt length to cover up my FUPA. I like skinny jeans and I usually end up wearing short dresses over them, I even wear knee length dresses over my skinny jeans. I guess it has become my style, the skinny jeans with a dress and Dr Martens boots under them and my buzzcut hair and big ear rings.

I had Shapermint leggings once, but they were hard to get on and so thick that I felt constricted. Maybe I should have taken a bigger size, but then they might have been too big. They were smoothing, yes, but I got vapours just getting into them …

I'm curious how much noise they make when you walk. Nothing is more embarrassing than walking through a quiet room full of people and making so much noise everyone is looking at you! Of course nothing makes as much noise as the snow pants my my made me wear when I was little!

You are such a beautiful young lady. I just have to say that those shorts do absolutely nothing! Why don’t you just wear clothing that better compliments your body. This color is not a good color for anybody that has extra flesh anywhere. I mean I’m a size 8 and I wouldn’t wear a dress in that color because it shows every bump I have. Stick to dark colors like black, navy, dark brown, and maybe find something that isn’t body hugging. The thing is to find clothing that compliments your body, not clothing that everybody else wears that doesn’t look good on our own bodies. I see clothing all the time that I wish I could wear, but I won’t because I know it doesn’t look good on my body shape. Take a good hard look at what you look like and find clothing. that’s complimentary. A swingy knee length or midi or maxi dress would look beautiful on you and that’s what I would stick with. Buy A lined dresses and you could try some pants with A line shirts over them….like a tunic and that would look pretty on you, but you’ve got to be realistic about what looks good. I know I am in no way a skinny woman. I’m 60 years old, a size 8 and I’ve had twins and a C-section so I’ve got extra baggage I just don’t wear clingy light colored clothing ever. Prints and patterns also hide a multitude of lumps and bumps. I will say that I bought the shaper mint tank top, and it’s amazing. I just bought it for smoothing effects not to suck me in anywhere. I’m a size 8 and a 38C and I bought a medium.

You look so tiny! I don’t like shapewear. I am 5’ 6” 176 lbs and have a big belly and “love handle” area. There’s no hiding it, that’s where I carry all of my weight. Even when I had lost 50 lbs I still had a big belly/love handles because of severe muscle diastasis. Shapewear makes me feel squashed and also just doesn’t do enough to make my body look “normal.” My belly is there, it just is. I can’t spend anymore time or money fussing over it.
