The entire Award cash of one Lakh & MS amma's HMV Royalty for the production of this VCD recording, 5 lakh rupees, ( 1997) I am told, MS & Sadasivam donated graciously to the Mani Mantapam at Orikkai village, Kanchipuram, dedicated to the Kanchi Mahaswami of Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam. The noble couple mobilsed lakhs of rupees through her concerts for this project. And now the beautiful Mani Mantapam stands testimony as a beautiful architectural temple

@@susaiyahraphael3881 In 1976 sadasivam mama financed for my medical treatment, that time i was only 19 years old, i requested him repeatedly to visit my house once. he and Amma visited my house during their tour in kolkata. I got the blessings from both of them. Yes it id true. Still i am wondering. Then i was in contact with mama through correspondence. I think that i was luckiest person. Mama and MS amma both touched my head and made asirvatham.

years ago, maybe 16 or was it 20, had the pleasure of driving Thiru Srikumar from one Mr. Ramnarayan's home to the SivaVishnu Temple here (then in a transformed godown, now relocated to a mini-mall...) where he was accompanying one of my favorite singers, Nevyelli Santanagopalan....It was a fine music sangha then, many youngsters, big name now played here then, Tm Krishna, flute Shashank, Sanjay, etc.....As a Saivite myself, and lover of Thirumurai, I quite enjoyed watching him cover his forehead and throat in vibhhuti, as well as dropping some on his tongue, in the way i am familiar with from the older generation. Beyond that of course I loved his sweet toned violin.
