I miss the days where you could walk up to a ticket counter at a big concert venue, purchase an $8 ticket for a pretty good seat then casually walk in, sit down, house lights turn off, nothing but a sea of Bic lighters illuminating the giant indoor concert hall, the sweet smell of weed permeating the air, a huge audience screaming and chanting - the stage suddenly pops to life, four guys walk out and start the show with a little ditty called Whole Lotta Love then proceed to entertain fans for about two hours playing very familiar songs and ending with Stairway to Heaven or When the Levee Breaks. I really can't remember it's been so long ago. Fast-forward 50 years and you have artists like Taylor Swift charging $500+ and that's for a seat in the nose bleed section. Yup, those were the daze - with absolutely no confusion!

Matt is so eloquent and smart that it makes him even sexier - not like he even needed to open his mouth for that. Avenged Sevenfold has gotten better with every record and I love how he doesn't give a fuck about what people think or expect. That's why he's the guy I've admired the most since I was kid. 💜

M shadows is my absolute biggest hero, got to see the band during the stage end of the world tour with breaking Benjamin and bullet for my valentine, and I got a deathbat tattoo on my shoulder and everything, waking the fallen especially has changed my life as a musician and he helped me get into fitness and losing a hundred and fifty pounds after high school in 2020. I know the dudes are into the military and paying respects to veterans which is beast but I’d love to go hunting with him someday and teach him about that for sure lol. Nothing but respect for the dude and the whole band they get shit on about the nfts and there sound being similar to the likes of Metallica and each member criticized about something with there performance it’s like look at what they have done and how much they’ve accomplished the hate be unreal sometimes. I don’t know much about nfts but I’m learning a little bit each day and for real I have faith in the guys as they have the right vision with it and are incredibly knowledgeable about it and do explain it more in ways I can understand because I was like one of those people to at one point like these things are a waste and scams but I’m glad I never gave up on learning about em mainly due to these guys

Easy to explain Deathbats Club: it’s a Fanclub and community that you pay a finite amount of money to instead of paying a monthly sum and just hope they give you something. They have 4 different rare tokens that have care packages qtrly (I believe), tickets for life, meet and greets for life, and tickets + meet and greets? (I think on that last one) but they also have parties for anyone who can go at a time and place, so you don’t need a rare token to party w/ them just a $90 normal NFT (it was $90 the last I looked).
@HeinrichDorfmann11 ай бұрын
that's really fucking cool I'm so happy that you guys get to meet them and be around them I had friends who were into this band in high school and I thought the music sounded pretty cool but I just wasn't all there with the music at that time in life just before 2008 And then shit started happening in real life in my life and I started to realize how finite this life is and then I got into the band Yeah I think would be really cool to go meet them and everything I think it's awesome that you guys are creating a community thanks for being so open about how it goes it really has me confused about what goes into all this you look online and you see explanations for Blockchain and how you have to build the chain and I've looked up information about if there is anyway they can grab your information is there anyway you can get hacked and yeah there is and it happens so if that happens it kind of scares me and takes away from web3 honestly So if somebody could just address that kind of shit and make it simple I think you could get paid good money if you were able to break down the block chain and the risks and Benefits so that even a child could understand it if People were way open about what could happen what might happen as far as hacking goes as far as losing all of your money goes if people were open about this shit and brought it to the forefront and talked about it yeah then it would probably build a little bit more trust But the way things stand is just kind of shady right now no pun intended Matt and some of us are not ready to take that leap into the darkness yet..

I really love this band and I really love how forward thinking they are. seriously respect guys thank you for caring about shit. But I don't trust web3. I think it's smart that web two has contracts and people running it, but I know it makes everything more expensive for everybody else I try to support the best I can buy purchasing their merchandise because I don't trust web3 If there were another way that I could donate I would I just don't see the future in this new platform for capitalism Maybe if we were all like other communist countries we could do web3 no problem

there is no real way to properly explain and convince NFTs to any rational person. they can understand its purpose, but no one will ever convince it’s not a giant E-Country Club. All of the pre-requisites to even get a damn coin is already a sham. While Web3 does have insane capabilities, beyond comprehension, the literal price to pay for it is just not a thing for the average joe-aka, the majority of the fans. ew, cringe. i summoned the discord nft chads.
@Tamara7x2 жыл бұрын
They're literally $92 right now.. how much do people usually spend on tickets and merch etc?
@menamgamg2 жыл бұрын
I strongly believe that people only convince themselves and there's nothing anyone can do to even influence that process. You can provide good info but there has to be some genuine interest there for them to be intrigued to learn more. But that's just fine and in the case of web 3 it's very understandable right now at least. The problem is that theres a certain type of person that tends to thrive on social media, who have closed their minds off, which means they're not learning anything at all, but still absolutely must push their opinion out there about something they know nothing of.
@Tamara7x2 жыл бұрын
@@menamgamg I hear you. And I 99% agree. However, I have seen cases where Avenged fans have stopped being anti NFTs/DBC once they realize that they had some fundamental misconceptions about the whole thing. Which makes sense, there's a lot of misinformation out there and I can see why some of those untruths being spread would really turn fans off.
@Tamara7x2 жыл бұрын
For example the belief that these tokens cost hundreds of dollars. A lot of people still think that and it's just not true. Now, of course $92 can still be a lot for some people, but then a merch box for $99 (like this year's Halloween box on a7xworld) is also a lot.
@menamgamg2 жыл бұрын
@@Tamara7x Yeah totally! I just think that those people made a conscious decision to listen and to learn and by being strong enough to admit the possibility of being wrong they convinced themselves basically. I think anyone is capable of changing their mind as long as they don't filter out all the input they don't agree with. So it's great to spread good information but i think that if you do it with the intention of chaning people's minds it's only going to end in frustration since it's totally out of your power to convince them.
