For light colored paint I like the black out sport package. But on the dark colored paint the chrome looks better in my opinion ☺️

can't beat the classic look with the chrome can't believe the M sport is only cosmetic it's nothing to do with the engine never knew that!!! the classic chrome look I don't know how everyone doesn't like that better.

So much more to the m sport package than just the looks. Steering wheel, interior trim, shift programing, and shock adjustability to name just a few. This video is just about the exterior. And he missed the painted wheel well arches of the m sport package.

This was SO helpful. I'm going to do chrome with my Ruby Red individual color with Silverstone Sensfin interior because I think it will be a more feminine/prettier car vs. being sportier if I did the shadow line. I love shadow line on the white X5's and I they offered more color choices for the interior I would do the mineral white metallic with shawdowline trim and the red calibers. I'm currently in a Phytonic Blue with white merino leather and have shadow line trim around the windows but with the chrome front grill I don't think it looks that sporty. I like when the grill in the front coordinates with the trim personally.

Great Video M Sport Package for me when I upgrade

I got my wife the basic line, premium package. Blacked out all the chrome and gray. Found some m sport wheels online for a grand on offer up and swapped over. Also, had the calipers painted. BOOM! Never missed the M sport. I could not find a M sport. I also just flagged/saved a crashed one on offer up that is being scrapped. I may grab the rear bumper and tips. It is just 700.

Save your money… base is best! You still get great handling, plenty of speed, and a cool looking vehicle inside and out.

M50i is the only way to go. 40i is basic and the full blown M is too much.

This. People are paying 80K for the regular X5's. 335 horsepower in the 70's to high 80's. Hell no. Go all the way. You have to go with the M50i, twice the vehicle

Everything blacked out looks so cheap. It’s exactly the same inside where most new cars have piano black which looks and feels cheap, not to mention how badly it gets scratched. Traditional wood elements are left behind and people wanna have a “sporty” look in their sub 200 hp car.

To also add: these sport packages get m sport suspension which is incredibly stiff. Who needs sport suspension on a non M car???

M Sport package adds nothing to improve the performance of the car. The Xline looks classier. Save your money and go for the Msport brakes, 20” wheels upgrade alone if offered as standalone option as it has been varying wildly due to supply chain issues. But if black is your thing go for it.

The one without the m sport package is definitely the way to go. It's classier. I could see myself pulling up at the supermarket in that one. The chrome looks amazing.
