MMM is either allowed in material science or mechanical they cant seat for both departments..if they are attending placement with MEMS department then they are not considered for core mechanical companies

Hello sir, I need guidance.. I am currently placed in core mechanical comapny in design field with above average package...Should I go for Mtech at IITs or Keep working as avg pacage in IITs for core is 6-10 LPA which I will also in same company after 2 years.... GATE 2022 Air 2800 score 590 marks:- 49.47 and in XE around 48 air 1300. Iam in dilemma that wheter to continue preparation for gate or go for CAT as even after doing Mtech salary will still be pretty much same

Ths true bro actually in core your salary 10 -12 Max this is real , if you choose non core profile their is not limit for salary, and cat is completely different so decide accordingly to you what is your final vision

@@VivekSharma-sz5pr just a quick update... I took a decision, took different path. I neither did GATE nor CAT... Upgreaded my skills relevent to work...and now I am earning quite decent with opportunity to go abroad ( In core feild)...happy with my decision... Cause I counld not afford 2 years full time study or fees of MBA

Now the scene is totally different 😅Take again review from someone from IITB and update it, so to update newcomers👍 CTARA ROCKS AMONG ALL🤣 Design and Thermal are the worst branch among all you have mentioned, Even corrosion people have a way better job than those fu*** branches. I personally believe the order will be IEOR, MMM, CTARA, CORROSION, SYS-CON, MFG, ENVI ENGG, Material Science, (Design and Thermal) Hope it helps.
