They sound much better now than they did on the tour with Def Leppard. John's guitar sound is MUCH bigger now and he's a lot more confident on stage with the band. Motley as a whole sounds MUCH better than when John first joined. Before they sounded like Motley with a fill in guitar player. Now they sound like a BAND. They are meshing really well. Great job, Gents!

.I think John 5 is one of the best guitarist's there is.He's the reason I went to see Motley. I think he’s to much of a perfectionist to be playing with the Crue. Mick's sloppier guitar playing was a better fit for the band. IMO

John 5 is an underrated guitarist. He would be way better in a band that would let him off his chain and shine. I could see him playing for Ozzy. Manson & Zombie never let him play to his ability and has always had a paying gig. Same as Kotzen with Poison & Buckethead with GNR. His solo stuff is the best, if you're into guitar. He's doing a good job, but Mick Mars had a grittier tone. He sounds too precise & clean for Mötley. Fargodome acoustics suck too.

This is one of the best filmed shows of the tour...i have scoured shittube and few come close to quality....as far as the band is concerned, well...John 5 was supposed to revitalize the complex but ended up altering and outright completely changed their original sound. A brand new band.

I sure did film Def Leppard :D Check the rest of my channel. Mall Of America for X release. Mauled by mall cops trying to stop me from recording video. Please keep us safe from my videos. It's totally the worst that could happen at a mall. Xcel Energy Center nosebleed seats super chatty drunk women that constantly walked my isle. Now at Fargo a friend of mine got puked on during Bringin' On The Heartbreak. New concert shirt. LOL Oh yes.. Two possible reasons: 1) Modern day wireless technology 2) They’re faking and playing from a prerecorded track aka Motley Vanilli. But why would they still sound bad then 🤔😆 Well, I don’t think that band ever gave a shit about their concert audio as long as it was loud and Fargodome is a giant garbage can for sound quality.

But, I should clarify I don't use a my phone to record the shows on my channel because I hate it when others do that when they hold their phone up with the LED display on and it's rather obnoxious. I use a small Sony Cybershot camera and only use the eyepiece for viewing unless there is nobody behind me. You can tell because you can't zoom in that far with a cel phone. However, that being said, it didn't improve the band's performance one bit. Even with all there backing tracks. Personally, I was there for Alice Cooper and new what to expect from this band. :D

I enjoy rewatching what I record because it's usually better than what I can see without the zooming feature. Kind of like using binoculars that record. I prefer that over watching the video screens too. I kind of consider my channel a public database for my own memories. I went for Alice Cooper. I also want people to see what is real and what is not before everything is faked. Good bands deserve the respect and those that aren't need to be called out. \m/

I'm glad I seen them in their prime. Not for me I wouldn't go across the street to see them. Course American music has gotten bad. I'll stick to listen to European metal in Japanese metal. America might have invented hard rock and heavy metal put the Japanese have definitely perfected it
