This place ‘Madras Talkies ‘ was on my list for a while now, and I am so glad I did taste all the unique South indian varieties at this place!!
Loved the srilankan Idli concept, the thalis and specially the kesari ukaadaa!!!!
Was so wholesome and tasty !!
Do try it out when you can , it was budget friendly and offers good atmosphere 😍

Thatte idli(plate size idli) originated in Tumakuru town of Karnataka and popularly known as Tumakuru thatte idli... And here u can also find Acre Idli ( large tray size idli) which i think world's largest idli..

I m sure that menu madhe thathe idli lihilela asel mhanun you pronounced that way, but it's tathe idli , in southern part of India I don't know y they put extra 'h' every where. For Tanishka they will write, thanishka, tanvee they will write thanvee😀.

Correct, but in menu it's normally written as thathe so the pronounciation that way. If it was written tathe then Tanvi would have pronounced correctly 😊
