iPad Air 2 got 7-8 years of support. No kidding go search it up. Came out in 2014 and the last update came in 2022. IPad Air 2 was on a damn near iPhone 5 level chip, the iPads with DESKTOP chips are bound to last minimum 8 years but tbh I see them going farther. Even the 2018 iPad Pro on A12z is still pushing out meaningful updates and it’s on year 5. Only thing it doesn’t get is external monitor support.

I wanna know your thoughts too, shall I get the iPad air 5 256gb or the base iPad Pro 11" M2 if i will be using it as my main productivity, vid editing (not a pro here but want to get better)? Been using it for 2 months (bought this on july 16 2023) im using the blue one with 256 gb. Its really good for me as a med student and its my first time using ipad. Sometimes the fingerprint sensor doesnt recognize my fingerprint and thats the only problem ive encountered since so far. Its 10/10 for me

I mean just outright beautiful. Been using one for a while, since release actually. I bought it for Photoshop and Illustrator on the go, I ended up ditching both for native iPad apps that center their UIs around touch and pencil. I can't express how much of a better experience I have. I've been able to move almost everything from my desktop to my iPad. Fully enabled vector work, raster work, video editing, motion graphics etc. The only two minor inconveniences I've had were that there's no good 3D modeling app for anything other than basic 3D printing (Shapr3D costs more than literally any professional modeling tool and lacks absolutely everything that makes those tools a considerable purchase), and an abundance of KZbin ads. I got too used to just not seeing any and I've even heard they're more severe than Vanilla Android, though I haven't noticed that.

It’s great for average consumption. Pro series are overkill. Did upgrade from the iPad Air 4. Needed 5G and 8GB of ram got the 256GB of storage this time. Use it everyday for consumption .. no need to upgrade if decide to use for student use or professional usage. The few features like 120hrtz or quad speakers and camera.

I just bought one from Best Buy. my Pro does not get as good of battery life being a 12.9 inch display at high use. so i switch up after work to more of a tablet like expierince. was decent sale thought it was worth it

No one in our family requires an iPad Pro, so this iPad fits our needs well. I’ve never had complaints on my Apple purchases and this iPad follows suit. Def worth the money.
