I just got a set if Akra headers put on my 23 M Sport XR. I used the "stock" Akra muffler, and a stainless steel Akra headers and holy fuck is it loud. Sounds like a damn fighter jet on start to but I love it! Can't wait to do the brentune stuff
@topmaster999Ай бұрын
I love the M XR. Suchhhh a sick bike. Yeah it’s absolutely mental how loud it is.. videos do no justice to how it actually sounds haha. Brentune is a game changer. You’ll love it.
@Jake23115Ай бұрын
@topmaster999 Yeah....I was surprised I even went for it, to be honest. Remember, this is a step down from the M1000XR, but damn near pretty close to it (I got some of the carbon fiber bits and pieces) Did you do all the Brentune stuff? Velocity stacks, IAT kit, intake valve delete, and the actual tuning?
@topmaster999Ай бұрын
Oh still such a nice bike, it’s on my list of bikes to get for sure haha, I just did the stage 1 Bren tune and it’s completely transformed my bike

As a fellow Canadian… love your content lol. I’m going to do the Akra reps. Found a few examples of people using them for over 10k no issues. LOUD AF! get yourself a sprint hi flow air filter while you’re at it

My friend got a Akra rep and it actually looks amazing, I really don’t know if there’s any difference between the two haha

Those ramps are sick, but I couldn't find them on their website. Could you post a link to them?

I did the full system on my S and had to go with the long Akra, even then still a bit too loud. Now I have the M I have a stubby Pro-Race which gives me the pops and bangs back... but I do miss a full system... and flames! Why did I watch this video... the headers are in my shed... 😹
@topmaster999Ай бұрын
Hahahahah the full system is the way to go. It just looks so much better than having that big muffler under the bike and it’s so much lighter. I had an Austin racing full system on my s1000 and I never got sick of it 😂
@vienphan2553Ай бұрын
when I first started mine up ummm yeah its freaking loud! first couple of rides I had to wear ear plugs but you get used to it and no more ear plugs
@topmaster999Ай бұрын
😂😂 I was shocked how loud it was on the first start but I’m loving it now haha

How is the handlebar vibration? Been wondering for an honest review.
@topmaster999Ай бұрын
I’ve actually got a video coming out about that very soon! I recently made a few changes and I think it’s gonna help! But stock the vibration is pretty bad.. you can’t even use your mirrors after 60 km
@aao331Ай бұрын
@@topmaster999 mi RR was the same but it went away after 1000km or so
