M109R Oil Pan Removal and Installation

If you need to remove your pan this will show you how to do it. If you have a bad clutch and see a lot of the fibers in the basket, you will NEED to do this to check your sump screens. If they are dirty, you can either clean them or replace them.
1. Permatex 82180 Ultra Black Maximum Oil Resistance - Can be found at just about any auto parts store.
2. Front Engine Oil Strainer - 16530-48G01
3. Rear Engine Oil Strainer - 16520-48G01
If you need new O-rings for the strainers - 09280-22016

Is there a way to do this in a home garage, if so how would I stabilize my bike ?! Ramps, jacks , stands etc …????

We have done many of them right on the kickstand. You can do it from the exhaust side as that is the higher side of the bike. A mirror will help just seeing some of the rear bolts and inspect for old rtv to clean. Also, I have seen people be creative with getting the bike up on some blocks of wood, front and back, and then strapping the bike to garage walls to keep it level. I saw one put hooks in the studs in the garage walls and run ratchet straps even.
