Hi George, those fuel cans will be an easy fix I think. Thanks for looking in my friend, Model on! Johnny

That kind of issues on Tamiya models, are not common, as far as i remember. Well managed!👍👍👍 I thought you were going to redo the headlights and the episcopes : hollow them out, paint the inside and fill them with the stuff you used to make the CSS Hunley portholes.

You're right, these types of issues are not common with Tamiya. Makes me wonder about the origins of this kit. As for the headlights, think I'll just paint them this go around, lol. Model on my friend! Johnny

Uncle Johnny in one of your previous videos I believe it was the mini art kit, you used craft paint basil color, well I picked up that color the basil color and they had another tool looking craft paint color called desert cactus, so I went ahead and picked up both of those colors. Thank you for introducing me to those craft colors cuz they're pretty cool looking ima use them on some some kits here in the future

Hi Rick, happy to hear that you're looking to try craft paint. I love using the stuff and can't beat the price either. I strain mine when pouring into my airbrush just to make sure there aren't any large particles that could cause problems with my airbrush. Have a great weekend and model on! Johnny

To paint the tools glued on the model or not, it sounds like the Hawaiian pizza controversy...😆
@hillbillymodeling Жыл бұрын
Hi Zorg, yeah, it's that preference thing. Easier to paint with the possibility of getting glue spots on the finish, or no glue spots on the finish but hard to paint, lol.
