Your hole saw is duller than a dome light on an 1972 Buick.

I Drill 4” holes easily with that drill. Pushing way too hard. Probably use a bigger battery too

@@nickcounseller3952 in drywall maybe, but this was a cabinet panel. I got a little more oomph out of the 4am. But my M18 version wouldn’t have stalled. I really wasn’t pushing hard. I still love all my m12 tools. I had an opportunity to test it doing what I normally use an 18 or a hole hawg for.

Used the same gen 2 m12 drill with a 5.0 HO battery yesterday on some LVL with a 4” hole saw. Took a minute but it went through it just fine. Take your time. It works just fine lol

I’ve used mine with a 1 1/4 self feed demo auger bit and it will drill through 3 stacked 2x6

My flex angled grinder with any battery can do almost any size hole if even used a drill bit of 1 inch through 2 * 2x4 s

Let the tool do the work, your cocking it all to one side

I have the same drill and I’ve beat the hell out of its great lightweight drill but it is only a small guy. Definitely need a bigger battery for more torque out of it. I only use that sized battery for my lights or impact gun while doing hand tight fasteners.

depending on what wood it is this should be done with a braise or even a press not an electric drill like that

When you hold a drill like this , you chock it from getting air to cool the motor and can really go bad , rockie

You gotta use a bigger battery. The 5.0 or 4.0 would be the best choice

Looked like you were putting all your weight on it. Probably would work a little better if you eased the whole saw in. My 12v cuts just fine with a holesaw as long as its sharp and i dont lean on it.

Use the bigger battery it will do it. I’m surprised I’d never use an m12 for that but m18 all day

I love the m12 line but they’re damn weak, at least for my line of work.

You’re not supposed to use an hammer drill or impact. A regular drill would be the correct tool!
