The Battery has three metal terminals that connect power to the tool. Look at the ground tab terminal and it’ll probably need to be pulled out. Use a small 45* or 90* pick and pull it out to make better connection. I also have that same ratchet.

Thanks for the video. I spent a lot of time looking at videos from real users of these tools versus the talking heads that simply open the box. I’m glad yours are holding it. I just picked up a used impact and drill off of Craigslist but with only one battery. What do you think about those cheapy aftermarket batteries? I might try some and see how they go. Thanks again for the review video.

They are a little cumbersome but like you said they do take a beating and keep coming back for more lol. I've been eyeing up the snap on 1/4 in long neck just because it feels better in your hand.

I agree. They're faster too. But pricey

For the batteries I have a hint , try to open or vent the plastic clips on the sides not inside but in a way the they go out I have had this issue it’s all due to the time of usage and also they way it was made they bend inwards . I noticed it the difference in 1.5a against the 2.0Ah but after the 4.0 it was the same power the only real difference is the time I’ll last , but definitely don’t recommend buying aftermarket m12 they have cheap chips and batteries I open the internals it had some cheap quality batteries that were messing up the whole pack . This tools last for a long time but again don’t abuse too much , I had bought used and storé and always last long time . Have you tried the older non fuel version m12 ratchet It has messed up I have no warranty anymore on this one it lasted 2yrs but I just saw this fuel version now what about the right angle impact wrench any test on that one , I noticed even thought we can use Themis electric ratchets as nut breaker we should never do that to prolong the live of such tools

Batteries are a problem across M12 and M18 platforms. I see many on tool trucks for warranty work because they won't stay in or just flash. The M18 split in half when dropped :(

Thanks that’s what I was looking for an honest , usage review of the tool as many show a brand new tool but what about after the 3/6/12 month usage does it till hld up it’s value and durability

Just a heads up. That ratchet is still getting abused and still working great!
