Vlogged my Taiwan trip using AP2.. Couldn't be more happier. I am not worried my gimbal is going to snap or break during our tours. And it's very good in low light situation. Can't beat that!

Is there anything like the Pocket 3 in a normal camera format? The ZV1 is close but still does not touch the Pocket 3 in quality and is way to expensive.

Honestly, for some reason, no. I just took a trip to CES 2025 with two friends, I had an insta360 x3 which had absolutely garbage image quality when filming indoors and ended up throwing out my footage, my friend had a Sony ZV-E1 with dynamic active stabilization maxed out at 28mm and many of the shots had to be scrapped due to too much shaking and failure to find focus, and my other friend who just purchased the Osmo pocket 3 a few days before the trip and only filmed on iPhones up to this point got roughly 40 hours of tack sharp perfectly stable footage. After that experience, I'm now in the market for a pocket 3 lol

I heard the 1inch sensor is not perfectly equal. The Zv1 is more true to the tech specs, so theoretically, you should have a higher image quality from the Zv1. Though, the percentage difference is probably soo small, you will not notice a difference.

@ I have the Sony ZV1-M2 now and its image is very close to the DJI Pocket 3. I actually think its auto settings work better than the Pocket 3 auto settings. The Sony ZV1-M2 "understands" lighting better especially if you have lights in a studio setting. The Pocket 3 is an interesting device that still has room to grow. I lost several video clips with my Pocket 3 due to it going out of focus, possibly due to a finger slip on my cellphone (tap to focus on an area?). When you use your cellphone it blanks out the screen on the Pocket 3. So I didn't notice it was out of focus. Make me unhappy enough to return the Pocket 3.

The DJI Osmo Pocket 3 offers video quality more akin to a mirrorless camera, while the Insta360 has the quality of an action cam, with excessive sharpness and poor low-light performance. In terms of overall quality, there's no comparison. Of course, if you're shooting "action" scenes, in the rain or snow, an action cam gives you more freedom.

They found the seal in the new removable & replaceable lens glass is still letting moisture in so they stopped production to try and resolve the issue. Couldn't come at a worse time as people make buying decisions for the holiday and they are reluctant to say anything to avoid damaging confidence in the camera, or end up issuing a recall for the cameras they did already ship.

Ace Pro should be compared to the Action 5 Pro as the Pocket 3 is a different type of camera. The biggest difference is if you care about colour correcting as the Ace Pro only offers 8-bit, which the Action 5 Pro and Osmo Pocket 3 do 10-bit.

Just food for thought that's all.

8K *is* useful, but not for the 8K... its useful for the digital 2x punch in that still is able to maintain a 4K resolution (true resolution) ... this is something neither GoPro Hero 13 or Action 5 Pro offer and its a significant difference. Still doesn't make up for the big size, weight, moisture issues with the lens, no 10-bit, bad close focus distance, etc. but the 8K allowing a 4K 2x punch in is a real nice feature.

@@M1R0_Life_through_a_lens well its the worst close focus distance of the "big 3 camera cameras" and it of course is destroyed in close focus by the Pocket 3 so it makes IMHO the Ace Pro the *worst* vlogging action camera on the market. I'm not saying it doesn't do somethings very well, or even better than other action cameras, but if I had to buy an "action camera" for vlogging this would be my very last choice.

DJI Pocket 3 is infinitely superior to Insta360 Pro2, and they are completely different products. The rival camera is the Action 5, which, in my humble opinion, has better image quality because it is less "artificial".

why do you put a whipping sound on screen transitions? why do all youtubers simultaneously do the same things? why put text on the screen and put a plop sound? Is there some training videos that tell everyone to do the same thing? I absolutely hate it. i unsubscribe from people whop do that. Im not a toddler watching tv for babies. The worst is that jarring thing everyone does putting their hand up to the lens to mark a transition. I un-sub for that.
