I’ll be shooting some skateboard shots, so I'm really concerned about stabilization. From what I’ve seen at 12:00, both 4K and 8K resolutions have great stabilization, I can't really see any difference. Plus, there’s no distortion from the algorithms. Thanks for sharing!

I actually like the high color contrast AP2 provides🤣I really enjoy the color tone it captures, especially when there are multiple light sources or when shooting outdoors. I've tried both the Action 5 and the AP2, and AP2 works better for me in this regard.

I do a lot of motorcycling at night, was originally gonna get a gopro13 because I really liked the daytime footage but the difference in low light footage pushed my towards the AP2.

Hello. No. Just straight out of the camera with auto exposure. NDs mess up the stabilization on action cameras. Min shutter speed should be at least 1/100s for the stabilizer to the job well. Thanks for the comment. Cheers!

I basically knew nothing about 10 bit, Log files or color grading stuff, and I'm lazy. So I'm leaning towards things that do more work for me & I do less work. Those criteria fits well with AP2. Low light performance & less motion blur is a big plus.

For various reasons I own the Ace Pro 2 and the DJI Action 5 Pro. So far I'm inclined to prefer video from the Ace Pro 2 set to Mega (for less distortion) with HDR turned off. @@minwin29 Overall I do think the Ace Pro 2 has the edge. MountMedia makes some really good observations about this camera, in my opinion. But it seems most prefer the Action 5 Pro.

I bought mine weeks ago, the flip screen just kills it. Besides I really love the noise reduction func which saves me from doing noise reduct in post-production lol.

Started with DJI A5P and took it back after trying the Insta AP2. After 3 weeks with the AP2, and I took it back and bought the A5P again. I don’t hate the AP2 but prefer the A5P.

@@Taste_of_Hills i originally returned the DJI because I wanted something slightly more vlog friendly, but after using the AP2 and not digging the 8bit or the I-log, i decided on getting the A5 again along with the Pocket 3. Now I have 10 bit D-log, a great pov action cam and a fantastic vlog cam.

Hi is the 8bit vs 10bit really that difference? Im working in somewhat indoor sometimes low light. And i dosent have any problem with my dji mini4 pro What do you think of the log image in highlights, shadow, and noise of both camera? Im confused about geting the dji action 5 or ace pro, i really into cinematic super wide angle videos

Hello. Both cameras don't have a really aggressive log profile, so the 8bit kinda works, and I wouldn't use HDR with log. It does some weird thing to the highlights. Wey too digital. Honestly, for low light, none of the action cameras do a good job. The noise is a big problem. I use DaVinci resolve Studio for editing, and I can make the OA4 D-log M somewhat usable, but it's still a lot of work on post. Ace Pro 2 is the same thing. If you use these cameras in motion, then a lot of the video issues become less noticeable. It's the static shots that really show the low video quality in dark situations. Thanks for the comment. Bought it, but regret it, filming indoors looks bad, shaky, and noisy. The best setting is to color-grading it with i-log and no 10-bit. I shouldn't have watched Brandon Li

Exactly, did the exact same thing. I just received my refund after waiting 4 weeks. I was torn between the AP2 and the OA5. After waiting so long, I started liking some of the pros of the OA5 more. Mainly battery life and ease of use with mic. Ordered an adventure bundle and should arrive today. Less money too. If I'm not happy with it, I'll try the AP2 when it's finally available. Oh and "The Truth about Insta360" yet says sponsored content at the start of the video. Yeah this is unbiased.

so soft and mushy, i dont get the praise on this camera, they failed big time, color look like overprocessed, too much contrast, and despite 8k the image is like not in focus. Super weilrd. Too bad because all the stuff around are good, but image quality is more important than flip screen, bluetooth mic etC...
