MacOS has a color space problem, set it to P3, 1300 Nits. When exporting from Premiere use the Gamma Compensation LUT. In Resolve use Davinci YRGB Color Managed or tag Rec 709 clips to Rec 709-A, Final Cut will work out of the box with no issues. Have Promotion turned on, its easier on the eyes and will make things smoother to look at.

from what i've read and understood, no. However still ram and cores matter. And thats where the macs become expensive. Infact many editors have thrown 4k footage etc at their max MBP and it has absolutely eaten it. But still i would suggest research as much as possible.
