I think the stat should be ttk a whole team i have gotten multiple triple kill team wipes without having to reload with the matter. I cant express how good it is to no thave to reload every few bullets. Also the lower reload time is a huge plus over the 1887

This stat is best represented in the 'damage per magazine' category which can also be found in the spreadsheet! It actually has the highest dpm of all light weapons (discounting the infinite ammo weapons ofc)

it is one of if not the best weapon on medium, It has insane range and can kill a heavy in 3 hits and a medium and light in 2 it's so overpowered. I love it.

@@TheBlackGarnet I actually think with the introduction of the sights things are in a really good place balance wise. There will always be a meta and we are shifting from the last close range meta for sure (now this might age poorly cause its so early in the season) so I think they should just let things play out from here for a while before doing anything. The time cost of fights has come back down to what I feel is a reasonable gameplay level for the cash out game mode. I think if anything gun fights could be slightly faster (not necessarily higher ttk) but that's almost a nit pick.

despite the rather low ttk this gun just feels like it was MADE for me. I come from movement shooters (mostly titanfall 2) and I've always wanted a gun on light that allows me to fully utilize my movement skills in combat without any loss in accuracy. the sh1900 worked, but I didn't love always having to bet everything on 2 shots and having to dip out after every kill. this gun is exactly what I needed. I can dodge bullets while hipfiring at enemies from unpredictable angles (I use dash) until they die. sometimes it's so effective that I don't even take damage in a fight, and that allows me to be so much more aggressive than with something like the m11. this is my main gun now. I don't care whether they buff it or not, I'm happy as long as it doesn't get nerfed for some random reason. it could probably use a little something extra, but I'm totally fine with it just staying the way it is.

I love the matter. I think it should get some small buffs though; slightly faster rate of fire, and slightly smaller spread with possibly less damage fall off to at least help compete in this longer range meta.

they do have similar playstyles and I'd say most people prefer the sh1900 atm so this is a safe way to view it. I personally prefer the m26 matter. Don't let these stats stop you from playing whatever feels best. I'm here to provide you guys the education and information. I don't want to stop people from playing new weapons though

Hey Appoh I got a question for you. How do you use a 2 point dot as your crosshair??? I can run a 3 point and just get by with it in the craziness of combat but when I use a 2 point (the ideal size for long range head shots) it gets lost from my vision when stuff gets crazy?

it may not be a good gun but its really fun and that matters more to me also ive noticed that your mic is getting a bit fuzzy in your more recent videos with a high frequency hiss whenever you speak. you might want to check your mic and/or noise suppression settings

I had a feeling that this shotgun felt a little sub-par for the light class. Maybe the damage could be a little higher to bring TTK on M to 0.71s too. Btw great play at 5:20 :)

@Tesko249clips I think instead of raising the TTK they should just make it more consistent as is. Tightening the spread within 10 meters would be all I'd need to have this weapon feel fun and fill its niche. As it stands it is too inconsistent outside of barrel stuffing.

I took a week break after making Emerald 2 on the secund to last day last season, just logged in yesterday. Was really excited to try all the new weapons and the map. The new map - I Hate it!!... but it's just because I don't know it, so that's OK, I'll learn. The Kimi's/Deagals - they are so OP, I bet they get nerfed The Pike - I'm in love But honestly.. the Matter to me is... underwhelming. Not even when just compared to the new weapons, but just in general. I'm glad to see I'm not alone in that feeling

I was the "XP for life" type, but after the nerf I decided to try M26. And pretty much instantly I was able to pick it up and land some good shots, with basically no experience with shotguns

honestly my favorite gun from this season by far, such a fun weapon to combat with, even if its not as good as the sh1900, its still more then enough of a compentent weapon unlike the entrys from the seasons before. really if they just up the rate of fire slightly and give it ever so slightly tighter spread it could be a real powerhouse, tho i still use it as it is, so much fun

I really don't understand making the light shotgun worse than the medium and heavy options. Or making the light dmr worse than the medium option. Or why they nerfed the mp5. That was the only weapon that made the light class somewhat viable in higher elo. Embark continues to baffle me with their balancing decisions. So tiresome that every season there's just a small handful of truly viable weapons.

Embark literally admitted that lights have the worst win rate and continue to screw us over. It's not just that they gave us a sub par weapon, it's that they gave heavy a pair of 50 caliber pistols with a fast fire rate and range that 2 shots lights to the head.

The balancing for light heavily relied on xp for a while and now it feels like everything is inferior to other classes. Another season of mmh/hhm/mmm

One request I have for the vids on the new guns is to also show optimal ttk and not just base ttk. Obv doesn't matter for shotguns since they dont have headshot damage, but it's very informative to know both base and optimal ttk

@@coomtheslayer i think this totallt depends on your skill level, the more reliably u can land your shots the better sh1900 gets. But the m26 is more reliable if you happen to miss a lot. I personally prefer the m26 as it feels more consistent if im having a bad aim day

@@Appoh idk this is definitely true but the tighter spread of the matter means you can actually utilize the light's hit and run style instead of just barrel stuffing, I think the consistency is so worth it but that might just be a preference or a skill issue. There's also the idea that it's a team game and you're a pick class, the longer you can keep shooting the better

They're way more comparable after the damage nerf. XP still better imo due to versatility at longer ranges but the M11 decimates the XP up close now so there is def room for each depending on map and playstyle
