You can shoot lead core FMJ ammo through M28's. The 28/30's are the ones with the really tight barrels.

Interesting history. I would love to hear about the golden age of military surplus sounds interesting. I was born around the time you bought these, so I obviously missed that boat. Nice camera work also!

I misspoke in this video. Of the two M28 rifles I have one has a Sig (Swiss) barrel and the other has a Tikka (Finnish) barrel. All M28 rifles were assembled by Sako.

Hex to round recievers was in 1937.
