M2TM "Chords" incredible Midi Transformation Tool for Ableton - REVIEW

can M2TM "translate" a chromatic series of MIDI live performed notes (such as from a chromatic laser-harp for example) into the active Chord Structure (ie MIDI repmap incoming notes into structure)? and with "sound full chord" able to be Muted? Scaler2 has this feature, but right now it has ZERO MIDI automation and not known where. Are your controlls MIDI-mappable, including into Ableton Macros? THANKS

Hey, not 100% sure, definitely worth experimenting as max4live is native to ableton so there are many automation possibilities.

I could come up with a chord progression faster than you could use this tool. Complete with velocity, swing and bounce. Anyone who can practice 5 hours a week can do it too within 5 months. Cool plugin. But really? It's just cool because it can be done. Yay! technology! But seriously, there is no way in the world someone will use this to create a half meaningful track. Like I said neat tech. And you sound like a nice guy and I am subscribed to your channel.... but PEOPLE learn your instrument, make a mistake, have fun and watch the magic of who you are become alive for all to hear. :)

I completely agree, there is no substitute for learning an instrument and theory. But not everyone has been able to do that and in my case I'm not always carrying my keyboard around and I need to add some chords in quickly. I agree you may not be able to write a whole song with it but it's a useful tool nonetheless. All the best.
