Keeping old cars, Harleys and tractors going is one thing as there is a lot of support and aftermarket parts. Keeping old military equipment moving takes special people and Bless those dedicated ones that served and have the smarts to keep things moving.

Thank you for watching. Thankfully the military made exceptional technical manuals for how to work on everything. They also on at least some of the vehicles took 1 out of every 4 as parts in boxes that never got assembled. Those huge stashes have been bought by dealers that have parts to sell. Old British vehicles are getting harder to find parts at any cost than the military stuff currently.

I had an M35A2 assigned to me when I was in the Army 74-77. Never had any problems with it. They are a VA lot older now and I can understand them having more problems now.

Things wear out and anything rubber, plastic or any other chemical composition decay with age. Plus the “It worked last time I drove it” mind set limits how much gets checked before a vehicle gets driven sometimes. Thanks for watching.

That’s why you never leave the box open on a Lucas electrical part. You will let the magic smoke out!💨 Seriously, I have a 1966 Land Rover and haven’t had any issues. It’s so simple, it only has 2 fuses. 😳 Have you ever seen the 1977 movie “Sorcerer” with Roy Schneider? The deuce and a half’s are the stars.

I have forgotten about the box lids having to be kept shut. Nice one. I will look for that movie. Thanks for watching.
