Fill plug torque is 50 N*m/36.9 ft-lb. As for the drain plugs, the oil pan plug is also 50 N*m/36.9 ft-lb and 70 N*m/51.6 ft-lb for the clutch housing plug.

I drained the fluid that came out back into the liter motul bottles to see how much came out and it was an exact 4.0 liters, Maybe a hair under. So the few oz’s I put in from the 5th liter dripped out when it came over the fill hole.

Was wondering if you tired the “cocktail “ of 3qts redline lightweight and 1qt of Motul 300 , I’m reading diff things, some say yes it solved it and other day it’s a temp fix bc the pump in the trans isn’t compatible with redline and causes more damage . Watching the vid now sry if you answered it in the vid ! Thanks man

Fill bolt is on the side so it wouldn’t be that big of a difference. The amount that went in from the 5th liter was so minuscule and pretty much drained out when it reached the full level. I’ve heard many others say that needed a 5th bottle as well.

Is this the only access point in which to add transmission fluid? The entire transmission (including front/center differential and excluding rear diff) takes just about 4 quarts of 75/90 fluid? Reason I ask is because I noticed another access point on the front passenger side of the transmission and was curious to know whether fluid is added there as well.

you dont think your car should have been level to make sure all the old fluid is out and the new fluid level would be correct and not a little over filled?
@Scoobyfreak86
@Scoobyfreak86 3 жыл бұрын
Having the car level would help drain fully. However, even if the car was not fully drained, it would take less than the 4L since it would still have residual oil left. I’m confident that it drained nearly completely. I left the car as low as possible. Maybe an ounce or two left, but nothing that would effect the fill level.
@SMADSteve
@SMADSteve 3 жыл бұрын
The trans shouldn't have been impacted 2 much from not being level as the fill bolt is on the side. But the rear diff based on the cars level prob resulted in the slight overfill as the bolt location to car angle worked more towards a top plug ,(think if you put a hole on the side of a can but then rotate the can so the hole is on the top you can then still fill the entire can).
