You might want to take a look at Safety Siphon. It is a piece of 1/2" tubing with a check ball on one end. It allows you to transfer fuel from one machine to another.

Hey ! I'll add some batteries and I always carry my phone charger just forgot to put it in the video haha I've also added one of those power packs that has booster cables on it (It can boost a truck, so should be good for a ATV) and I can charge my phone and go pro from it too. thanks for the comment !

Hey ! ahhhh yeah I changed a few things, but the basics are still the same. I have a water filter now, but thats pretty much it.
@SPCLPONY3 жыл бұрын
I like the hand sanitizer idea. I will add that to my ATV overnight kit. I keep a couple trail or cereal bars handy. Cheap to replace after they are passed the expiration date. I toss the old ones onto the trail for a critter to enjoy. Toilet paper or a few squares of paper towels come in handy for several things. I hate not having paper to blow my nose when it runs in cold weather.
@slickmongercash77888 жыл бұрын
Thats quite a kit you got goin there. Ive been thinking I should do the same, never know if going to get stranded. one thing you could add to your kit too is a small packpackers emergency tent. They fold up pretty small
@Maritimer8 жыл бұрын
Hey thanks ! you should definitely have some sort of gear if things go wrong, that tent idea is pretty good idea, any idea how much they cost? I have the tarp which can be set up in many different ways.
@slickmongercash77888 жыл бұрын
I see them on ebay and aliexpress quite often under 100 bux
@ff1luver8 жыл бұрын
I got a really simple 1 man tent for 40 bucks at BassPro. Same ones are at cabelas. They pack up in a small bag no bigger then a foot long and half a foot wide. great for long trips on the bikes.
@slickmongercash77888 жыл бұрын
Something like this packs up real small www.ebay.ca/itm/Stansport-Scout-Backpack-Tent-Forest-Green-6-Feet-6-Inch-X4-Feet-6-Inch-X-/281705599462?hash=item4196f651e6:g:kasAAOSwBLlVZ6tW Leave the poles at home, use sticks at camp site and it will pack even smaller. Likely fit into your storage tote easy among your other stuff. Btw, few of us are going to do a camping weekend here soon near Grand Lake (not sure if I used this account or my other one when we talked about it before). Likely near end of June or beginning of July. You up for it?

Hey ! How much did that bag for your bike cost and where did you get it and is it water proof
@Maritimer8 жыл бұрын
hey man, it's an OGIO bag, they are sold in most ATV shops, I got mine at Atlantic Motoplex here in Moncton, NB. I've had it for years now, it was probably $160-200 I think... and its not totally water proof, but I've had it in heavy rain and it doesn't leak, now if you left it out all night in the rain it will eventually leak though. I've never had dust get in either and I'm always riding dusty trails.

No spare belt huh? We used to always carry spare belts while sledding, but I guess you're not as hard on belts with a utility ATV.
@Maritimer3 жыл бұрын
Spare belt would be a good thing to carry for sure ! saying that,Yamaha has a 10 year belt warranty, they have by far the best belt drive in the game, guys with 20,000km on the original belt. if you google how the yamaha drive works, you'll see there is never slack in the belt like on a sled or other brands, sort of a two clutch system which engage and disengage. I know those sleds can be hard on belts though, plus with the HP they have haha

How about SPARK PLUGS & EXTRA BELT...
@Maritimer6 жыл бұрын
It's a Yamaha, it doesn't burn belts ! haha jk That is a good idea though ! Thanks !! and I do have an extra spark plug in my box, just forgot to show it. But in all seriousness, the chances of a Yamaha belt drive being burned out aren't very high, they have a 10 year belt warranty, by far the best belt drive system in the game (dual clutch) thanks for the ideas, I appreciate the feed back.

Hey you forgot gasoline and extra tire just in case
@Maritimer6 жыл бұрын
Hey Sam ! I usually carry a roto-pack with about 5L of gas in it and as far as a spare tire, it would be tough to find a spot to carry that on a ATV.... maybe on a SXS you'd have more room. thanks for the ideas though !
