1982 BMW E24 633csi overhaul |Ep. 2| Cooling system and ignition components

Episode 2 is here of restoring the 1982 BMW 633csi E24. This episode we do the cooling system, ignition components such as cap, rotor, and plugs, intake boot, reinstall accessories, belts, etc.
Ive been playing around with different styles of time-lapse, angles, etc trying to make the videos more entertaining and involving to watch, Would greatly appreciate some input on this video and if y'all like the style. More work and less talking.

@@EMIRTUNING Cooler as they are rarer, and earlier, and far less seen. And other little styling intricacies the 635 doesn't have.

@@EMIRTUNING In some respects - cooler - because they tend to be a little more raw, less cush - as the 6 series gained traction amongst the executive class, they tended to gain weight and comforts - like almost always automatic. The BMW L6 in 1987 is an excellent example of BMW over doing it for the US market. Every inch was slathered in leather - the assembly workers back in Germany must have been shaking their heads at the seemingly boundless US leather fetish. In any case, its kinda splitting hairs - and its all a matter of degrees - any 6 series in decent shape provides an insane amount of joy and pleasure - both to look at and drive. I'm running an '87 635 5-speed and will always have a huge grin on my face as I cruise or drive it on twisting roads.

I would have checked the gap clearances. From my experience, the plugs I'ved ordered for my m30 have not come pregapped even though some state they do. The clearances were all over the place.

FINALLY FOUND MY ZF FOR MY M5X!!! I'm at the upullit by me and right in front of me they start a new row....with a 96 328is!!! So I'm there with my dad and I turn to him and say "dad...did they really just drop a fresh e36 328 infront of us?!?" At the time I'm looking at the trunk lid only and can see the 328is,so as I'm walking to it I'm explaining how bad my luck is and how even tho it's an 328is there's NO WAY it's a manual...well for once I was wrong! So I picked everything up for 180 bux(trans,cross-member and driveshaft)! Since I got it for cheap,and right now my baby-ing of my getrag has given me a pretty reliable buggy,I figure ill dump maybe $700-1000 into it before I swap it out again. I'm pretty sure I'll still be able to use my flywheel and clutch,esp cuz I sprung for the dual mass when I got it(there's a good comparison video im gonna have to watch)as well as the new oem slave and short throw I put in. I know my DSSR won't work tho. Other than than I'm thinking seals and detents
