Ngl - silly comment. iPad chargers are faster than standard iPhone chargers - you might only have a standard one but that would take like 7-8 hours to charge your iPad. Also - it’s like for like, the iPad charger is not a cheap charger

Support the decision not to include chargers automatically, there is enough e-waste around - but, for those that need / want one, they should provide one for free as an option at the moment of purchase... (I think that also should be the standard option when getting a phone and even a laptop)

The 2024 iPad Pro M4 is out. This is the 13" model. It has a gorgeous display and a powerful M4 chip. But you probably shouldn't buy it (with rare exceptions).

It's actually the reverse, heat is the enemy and big chips radiate far more heat. Your average Intel desktop chip can heat a small apartment.

The battery capacity is actually published by Apple. The 11” iPad Pro actually has a 9% larger battery and the 13” version has a 5% reduction in battery capacity.

The iPad is so powerful and I absolutely do not agree with the people that it lacks that much for not having MacOS. I would much rather have vastly superior display, better battery (if it had MacOS), the mobile app ecosystem and iPad OS has access to some very powerful apps that can do almost anyhting you need it to. Very impressive machine! Now, lets see what AI features would Apple bring.

@@xtrmlvr There is no such thing as unused power. The software that exists today is only possible because because of the hardware we had yesterday. In few years, there will be apps for the iPad that exist becausue the M4 brough that capability.

@@davout5775 In general I would agree with you. But Mx SoC series was not introduced today and it hasn't brought any real advantage for what iPad OS is allowed to do. There are few specific usages but I would like to run Mac OS app, not those limited touch-oriented versions. When iPad was introduced it was very limited. Today is more powerful than a Mac, so such limitations are not welcome anymore. Of course IMHO.
