Its fuuny how a best in slot HK or M4 still has higher recoil, lower ergo and is longer and heavier than an average AUG which costs less than half the price. Obviously the AUG has a lower firerate, but its better in every other way.

Great video. Have to agree with you on the m4 here. The HK gives me old school Tarkov vibes with a bit of point and spray fun. But the M4 is just so much more versatile.

Cool video Don't think I've run the HK this wipe, but I want to give a shot since it was really unusable before the patch The m4 on the other hand, I'm having a blast using short barrels, just for the looks of it but it has been doing really ok, even without the best in slot recoil attachments

I think the reason that I use the 416 over the m4 was when I was trying to find the highest muzzle velocity weapon that wasn't the bolt action.

Great video. I'd love to see more of these comparisons. The two examples you gave at the end sound great too; I would love a video about SA58 vs MDR. For a cross-caliber comparison you could also do TX15 DML vs SAG AK-545, since they fill similar roles despite their ammo difference.

I think the TX15 and SAG comparison is a tough one, both are so fun to use, and fit a similar profile. I think the SAG has to have the edge though due to high pen ammo availability and how early it is accessible.

Jdog you should do a longer format video and make it like the "guide to weapons in patch (whatever this patch is, can't remember)" and cover all calibres, break down good/cheap/meta and even "bad" builds for each calibre and then pit them off against each other. At the end you could compare the calibres, the different classes within each calibre and then maybe even have like a tier list and rate each build according to your opinion. Make it like THE gun build guide for this patch. Hell you could even join forces with someone like gigabeef and you could both cover your individual expertise in gun builds and data and do a combined vid together, how you'd release it I don't know but maybe your vid could mostly cover builds and calibres, with input from gigabeef, and he could do the opposite. Maybe you guys could do some raids together and release the footage or something. I don't know about the rest of the tarkov community but I'd be watching that video for sure. It'd be a cool project, if you have the time or inclination.

Honestly one point the video is missing is the basic HK416 with only a couple changes to mods is usually ready to go right away as opposed to more swapping of attachments to get the M4 better. Also if you go off of Flea Market pricing most of the time I find the HK416 significantly cheaper than the basic M4.

Mid tier M4 looks to be the best ... literally ı would change the pistol grip as ı don't like the look of skeletonized grips but other than that with the handguard, suppressor combo along with that raptor charging handle it has the most DRIP and we all know thats all that matters :D

I am Running a pp-19 Ap 6.3. ist light cheap and Comes back in insurance 100%. Atm it does not feel Like a better gun gives you a better Chance, every kill I get with a m4 or a rd I would have gotten with the pp19. Longrange its conpletely dogwater for shure, but on streets it does the best out of all guns I used

I think it is interesting to analyse SR-25 vs RSASS, since people tend to think the clear winner is the RSASS even tho SR-25 have much better ergo which is king for DMRs

Rsass has far lower recoil And you can up the ergo by swapping parts

@@paulbarclay4114 with the new recoil I don't think the 8 points the RSASS has over the SR-25 is that relevant. The only reason I would choose the RSASS over the SR-25 is for it's superior accuracy, but even that is completely irrelevant in 99,9% of the engagements in this game. The only thing that really bothers me in the SR-25 is that when you change scope magnification the scope jumps around like crazy, and I don't know if the RSASS do that, if not, that's one point in favor of it I guess, but the SR is just too stylish also imo

the loud 416 is a meta gun, the silenced 416 is unusable.

I wonder if there’s something to this… before I unlocked the 11 in barrel, I ran the 10 loud and it was a laser beam, once I got the 11 in suppressed it went to the moon. I’ve also heard they stealth nerfed recoil, could be that.

which muzzle devices do you use for loud 416?

@@pr3vvUse the fer frans CQB and then you can add the second fer frans muzzle device on top. The meta build with long barrel will be around 55 recoil, 50 ergo. The 11 Barrel loud will be about 59 recoil, 65 ergo.

@@CzarFace6012 I use the 11" loud and it's plenty good enough, but when I used silenced it feels so sluggish and difficult to control. I like how they have gone back to 2019 tarkov balancing and made louder guns have lower recoil again

I would say hk416 is better for this wipe, cuz they reduced overall recoil for most weapons, therefore firing rate plays a very important role, and it’s also cheaper to build, but if your perfer laser go m4.

416 11in barrel, Acog / RMR. Only 556 gun that can win consistently in CQC.
