Ummmmmm...you know this movie is fairly recent, right? (Within the last decade or so?) Some of the latest generation of EW, NVD, comms, etc wouldn't be allowed to be even portrayed anyhow (just think of how long it took for the prism device used by snipers to come out to the public, and that only came to light when it did because of a fluke of circumstances!)
