Where did you order your parts? I found the rebuild kit (bearings and synchros) on summit but some of the reviews are making me question ordering it, also have not been able to source the shims. Trying to have everything on hand before dropping my trans for the rebuild

HI, the front bearing retainer, I know htere is two seals I have those in my hang, but do I need to use any trv or gasket on the retainer? I guess no BUT mine had some when I took it apart. THAKS

They call for anaerobic sealant on the front retainer, tail shaft housing and top cover.

Right on thank you - so that is a yes. Now if I can only find both inner seals !

having trouble with the countershaft getting in the way of the main shaft. I dont have the bearings installed. main shaft wont mov back so i can install the bearings.
