Don’t panic, just stay away from falling objects. Be prepared, we may have more. Keep extra water on hand and close toed shoes. California hasn’t really had a big one in a while. The Ridgecrest one was decent, but nowhere as damaging as Northridge. Just stay calm and be prepared.

I felt it in Grass Valley,CA and immediately checked USGS and sure enough NV had a 5.9 magnitude earth quake. On average only 500 a year at that magnitude. Hope everyone is okay in those tall buildings in Reno nearby.

Have a flashlight ( never light a candle cigarette nothing) next to your bed and shoes, the Northridge Quake happened at 4:30 a.m. many quakes happen when your sleeping. Power went out, pitch black cut my feet up on broken glass trying to get out of my house, gas line and water line broke , all you could hear was water splashing and car alarms. Have an emergency kit with water and food in your car, you might not be home when one hits, or be able to get home right away because of freeway overpasses and bridges collapsing. Don’t panic I made it through and so will you. 🙏 God Bless you all.

I've been through three large earthquakes. I was living in Hesperia CA when we had the Big Bear/Landers earthquake in 92. Then in 1994 I was at my sisters house in Woodland Hills for the Northridge earthquake. So yeah, screw earthquakes.

I Was working in Santa Cruz in 1989 and warned people that God was going to rock the entire bay area while the whole world was watching the World Series. Quit my job doing construction work up at UCSC two weeks before Loma Prieta happened and went to LA. One month after the quake the Lord had me go back and street preach in all those devastated cities. He continues to warn these areas to REPENT of your sins and give your lives to Jesus. But people are not listening, lately God has been telling me that He's about to strike Southern California with a 8.8 magnitude earthquake. Time to REPENT and get right with God, cry out to Jesus He loves you and died for our sins. We are not promised tomorrow, look at the Condo collapse in Florida God can come for you suddenly when you least expect it. Be wise and REPENT, remember Hell is not just for the weekend, eternal damnation THINK OF THAT FOREVER SEPARATED FROM GOD, YOU DON'T WANT TO GO THERE. 🕊
