This song, this album... it is life. From the warmth of the sun rising, the innocence of children laughing, the bizarre acts of nature - to the darkness of space, the weariness of time, and the departure of death. "Hurry up, We're Dreaming" is life. Every song lives and dies as if it were a living being itself. M83, thank you for everything.

+Patrick N It gives me so much comfort knowing there's people out there that feel songs like these as I do. Every time I listen to songs from Hurry Up, We're Dreaming, and songs alike, it makes me feel more alive and passionate about life for those brief few minutes.

M83 are the only artists to make me feel alive. Whatever the song, i feel like i'm at the top of a mountain and that the world opens up to me especially for my eyes. And that with every song.

You guys may try Porter Robinson as well; recommended tracks that have an M83 vibe would be: “Sea Of Voices”, “Hear The Bells” and “Goodbye To A World”. And if feeling adventurous try his whole album “Worlds”. It’s for him that I know M83 now :)

"It is late. I am looking for my other home, taking an unfamiliar path: a small trail near the factories and the city, cutting through the forest. I can barely see nature when suddenly, night falls. I am engulfed by a world of silence, yet I am not afraid. I fall asleep for a few minutes at the most, and when I wake up, the sun is there and the forest is shining with a bright light. I recognize this forest. It is not an ordinary forest, it is a forest of memories. My memories. The white and noisy river, my adolescence. The tall trees, the men I have loved. The birds in flight, and in the distance, my lost father. My memories aren't memories anymore. They are there, with me, dancing and embracing, singing and smiling at me. I look at my hands. I caress my face, and I am 20 years old. And I love like I have never loved before."

it’s only 5 seconds before the world ends, and you look at the person you love, she’s on your side watching the world explode little by little, you want to run, but the beauty that the explosion makes is so beautiful that it makes you stay and look. the echo that the world makes, makes you cry with the person next to you. and then the world ends.
