I have lost many of my loved ones to death but for me the most painfull loss is losing someone you love and care deeply for, while they are still alive... It's the knowledge of that there is nothing that cannot be negotiated or overcome that separates you from your loved one but it still remains so. You cannot negotiate with death. Death always gets the final say and thus we are helpless against it and must accept. But love lost in life is maybe even more bitter because there is room for negotiation. There is no reason why it cannot be, yet we choose it to be so. RIP for my 15 years of sharing joy and pain with a very special person who I hope will find love again...

I only just now read it. Whew. The music here really sets the mood, as if what I had read wasn't enough already. All I can say is rest in peace, too. They both meant a lot to them, that much is clear... And it must hurt. It's a damn pain in the gut to be carrying on in someone's memory. But sometimes it brings peace. I wish I could direct some promising words their way, I do. But I think they've probably had more than their fair share of random people telling them they wish them the best. And I wouldn't know what to say, anyway, myself. Sorry for responding with my own thoughts, it's probably unnecessary- but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't somewhat moved and I needed to put the outlet of emotions somewhere.
