Movie was actually quite depressing & VERY Slow, & has nobody really even pointed out that ANYONE that actually loved or cared for someone would have instantly jumped into the water to save the person you loved! Not just stood there for 5 mins while the person was UNDER water & in real life would have 110% drowned!! All I could think when watching was HURRY UP & jump in & save poor Charlie!! What a bitch!!

Enjoyed the movie despite its many flaws. Awesome soundtrack and the cinematography was beautiful. But plot wise many holes and sometimes unnecessarily confusing. They had some good ideas but I think they just executed them poorly. All that said I still enjoyed it.

I like this film but the end. I'm not a critic and that's my humble opinion so don't get all frenzy and crazy for a simple point of view different than yours. The final is a joke and a lie.You're a goddamn mob boss and plan to kill an idiot by throwing him over a dam?Are you serious?If Charlie had died this film would have been nearly perfect with an amazing and realistic end,instead it ends with a sweet and good final that made me nearly barf.

Mads performance in the end its what wraps up the whole movie and shows that even bad men have hearts. Totally love that ending even though I wish she could pick Nigel jsut cos he did kill himself out of love. Think about it, a badass guy saying he owns that girl turned around and let her go, an act of true love. Normally an act of true love will bring fortune but in this movie it does not for Nigel.

This movie has a cool soundtrack and a cool cinematography, but the dialogues are weak. And the male lead, both the actor and the character, is even weaker. Honestly, what woman in her right mind would choose Shia over Mads?! What's the target audience for this movie? 15-year-olds? It's just not plausible. As an audience member, I don't believe in the Gabi-Charlie love for one second. But I do believe that Nigel really cares about Gabi That's why, in the end, he commits suicide by cop, because he sees that she cares about Charlie (God knows why...) and that she doesn't love him anymore. Nigel could have run away, like Darko did, but he'd rather die than live without her. Nigel for the win! He is the strongest character of the movie and has the best lines. Besides, there's more acting talent in Mads Mikkelsen's upper lip than in Shia LaBeouf whole body.
