Thanks for the very practical test. I am only missing some words on the dual band Wifi adapter which should give you the opportunity to use Bluetooth without the usual interference with 2.4GHz WiFi. Any comments on this - does it work well, did you use it on your bandwidth test?

Humm, my wifi tests are the "normal" as i dont rely on Wifi to stream content, i use all my boxes on ethernet and stream from my NAS blueray files and ethernet is the only way to achieve great results RJ 👍

Hello Robert, Thanks for the content you create, Could you please reference the google play store functionality when you review the streamers. I think it's really important and could be very disappointing when someone buys the streamer and finds out it has crippled google play store. I have the M8s+ and it has this problem, too bad you didn't test it and put it in the cons. Thanks!

I mean I have the same model exactly and the google play only shows very few apps, It's very limited, its well known for Chinese streamer, I suggest when reviewing them you also mention this limitation if exists. Also please try to cast (google cast) to it by your phone (Not Air Play) it doesn't work in my streamer. Please check your firmware version, so we can see if it has the same one. Thanks!

Hi Robert, I live in Israel, And I realy like your videos! No I don't think so, since I have Nvidia Shield and it work great , It's limitation is due to how google sees the device, google play identify this streamer and apply roles to its googly play store, which is very limited, I will try later this week to make a video\pics and show you. I can install all apps with side loading but it's tedious. I will also send you my firmware version. Thanks!

Hi 😀 its dificult to say which one is the best for each one of us. I will be putting a new video together by the end of the month that will show the best options on my opinion. On this particular case i have to say the M8S Plus as i did not test the Mini MX III and im not sure what you will find in terms of firmware RJ 😀

I have a USB 3.0 Blue-Ray that i use to rip my Blu-ray discs to my NAS (WD My Cloud) and then i use the Android boxes to stream to my TV´s. +Save Polarbear Hey !! 😀 Regarding a Octacore or Quad Core i would not worry to much about it. I would concentrate in what the machines can do? What are their prices? And which you prefer? Once you have that covered you will know which one to get. Check out the front page of my channel and you will find about 40 boxes, some great, some not that good but you will be able to see what is or not the best for your needs. Hope it helps RJ 😀

This box has problem playing youtube apps. I notice framerate skipping. Can you confirm this? Running emulator is also problem, not smooth. However video plays very well using Kodi, even youtube play on via Kodi was very smooth. What is your opinion on this?

+abendroid Hi, emulators i dont use so i cant say but youtube runs fine. What is the speed that you have there (network)? That is weird that you can play fine with Kodi but not with the KZbin app. If that persists it has to be fixed on the firmware or on the app RJ

Hi Jilai, you have everything that is needed to be able to make it work as the C 920 is the best camera for these machines. I dont use skype or web cams my self but i would suggest on google to see if anyone has the same issue. I believe that you already changed all the setting on skype so there might be something else that i dont know RJ

Hey Paul, some of them yes. Usually premium boxes like Minix you will have support and frequent updates, budget boxes like the M8S usually tend to stay as they come RJ 👍

Hey Mas and thanks for the feedback!! Back when i tested the M8S my network was not so good so there is a huge difference but they are similar. The M8S+ is a bit better in Wifi speeds tough RJ 👍👍

That can happen with any electronic device / machine, just get a replacement from the seller or ask for a refund and buy somewhere else. The box has given me a great experience and a lot more users, so 1 bad box does not tell the all story right :) RJ
