The way the setup at the end works is that the Thwomp hits the switch to drop the launcher. Then, a 1 up drops onto a note block that boops the mole down. The mole will then go to either the left or the right to drop the correct launchers. The rest of the contraption is clever sprite saves by letting fire flowers boop more launchers and the clouds are there to reuse the mole for booping the spring down so that you can enter the door. 37:27

35:25 I actually use that claw method but it's only in scenario where I need my thumb to move the thumb stick but I also need my fingers to press buttons and I can't do one then the other, it needs to be at the same time. Otherwise I prefer only using my thumb.

the shorter of the two troll video essays is only 3 hours. I feel like a giant nerd because I spotted stuff they left out, how is that possible? Maybe it was cut for time. Neither of them covered how the very first Mario Maker levels we saw at the Nintendo World Championship back in 2015 set the tone with troll elements. Nintendo really made its own bed. Also, Dunkey put up a video of him playing "The Climb", a Getting Over It level, on Jul 15, 2019, just a little before any of the "Please Just Do Better" playthroughs I can find

@@giafoneozu9998 Yeah thats what i was thinking of too. For me its just insane that this was not a common play style like few Years ago but now most use it because its just that much better. Like... who thought one Day... "today i will invent a new Way to play Tetris and it will break Records". lol. I mean in a Way we do this all the Time kind of. We invent new Skies to get even faster Times or we invent better tires in Motorsport or new Swim Suits. Stuff like that. But it just seems so much stranger when someone "invents" a new Style on how to play a Game which is Way faster. That said... now that i think about it, i remember in Ski Jumping back then there was parallel and V Style as well and V Style was banned too for a While until they adopted it fully because its just that much better so i guess it happens elsewhere as well. Anyways i still think its so strange. Maybe because playing Games competitive basically is still kinda new if we are honest here. Even if we say its competitive since 30 Years (which is already a stretch imo) its still funny that Tetris which is even older gets a new play style just like that. Sorry for so much Text.
