Sharreth - the most underrated genius musician in malayalam ... Its unfortunate that most of his brilliant compositions were in movies which were box office flops .He is the son in law of another tragic genius -Kannur Rajan - who despite giving music to one of the biggest box office hits in malayalam movie history; Chithram , was largely forgotten.. This song is truly of international quality and sounds fresh even a quarter of a century later !!

Those days..I used to wait for this song in "Chithrageetham". I loved the composition, orchestration and mix, so I wish to call It as a perfect song of that time. Still the song has got the freshness. Hats off to Sharreth chettan and all the great artists behind the scene. For a layman its simple and beautiful song, but for a musician its a tough song with a very complex orchestration. Overall...amazing song....Love you Sharreth chetta❤️

Sir, I was in 10th Standard.. when this film got released... Raaga Mohanam was one of the limited number of raga knowledge i have... The way you stitched the chord progressions which took the song and the arrangement of this song, to a level which no other composers must have done... in this world... The arrangement was the first thing which made me melt with this song.. From then till now... every time i listen.... not only the original version.. but the other versions which is out there..you have arranged...... is having different color and level of chord progressions.... in each line..... And now ... this version you sing... having the chords on harmonium.... its haunting sir...
