stickersdogcat42 . I said, I think she's the only person who enthusiastically introduced South Korean traditional food even not famous one, without any purpose of reward, but with pure mind. She deserves some South Korea honor. (But she refused.) And she's old lady who usually can't speak English, lived only 4 years in US, but her English is excellent, she can express with adequate words, even though her pronunciation and intonation is Korean, it doesn't matter. Her recipes are amazing, and her sense of coloring and decorating is good, and she make food herself as real homemade! Even Eomuk or Makkeolli is usually not homemade these days, but she does! I want to try them at my home, and I bet it tastes much better than factory-made!

Maangchi is so natural! I really like listening to her talk, and her videos include some cute little quips, such as "Everything is cube, this is cube day..." They make us laugh in the middle of learning how to cook her delicious recipes. This is one KZbin programme that I watch with intense focus. I am already a Maangchi fan (since 2009) but if I wasn't already a fan I would become so interested by this talk. Maangchi you must be the easiest guest to interview! Lol! I am "half and half' Korean and American. I grew up with Korean food. As an adult, I was recreating those foods I so loved--like you--guessing the ingredients from the taste, etc. And also--creating my own recipes--by incorporating those key Korean ingredients. Your guidance has been invaluable! You are my go-to whenever I have a question about something I'm making--or, to just get some ideas. YOur videos are so easy to follow and you are a born entertainer. So charming and cute! For many years now, when somebody or one of my kids has questions about Korean food, I say, "Watch Maangchi! She makes it so easy!"

I was quarantined in my bedroom for a week due to my radioactive iodine treatment and I was in KZbin watching Filipino food recipes. Suddenly , pooped up Korean foods and saw Maangchi 's name on it. I clicked and watched how she cooked. I realized, I like her cooking and her personality. I even Google her background. She's liked me an immigrant here in America. Why not have an American Dream? She's so adorable, genuine and talented and she is probably the best Korean cook on youtube and provides the best easy to follow recipe. She has inspired me and helped me make the Korean dishes that my mother use to make for me before she passed away from Cancer in 2017. I hate Cancer!!

She is gentle. I was surprised that few subscribers were Koreans back then. Well, I got to know of her KZbin channels several years back. I wanted to learn how to describe making food in English, and then I found her channel. I was so fascinated by her videos made in English. I definitely feel that she was born and raised in Korea as soon as I listened to her speech. However, she had no difficulty explaining things in English. That's when I realized that fluency must've come first before accuracy. I know my purpose to visit her KZbin was quite different from yours, but that's the moment I started subscribing her videos.
