Not sure if you have watched the movie yet but in this scene, she is a courtesan and made a bet with the guy with the mustache that Devdas (shah rukh) would come by before the candle burned out, and tgat she wouldn't perform until he did. If he didn't come though, he (moustache guy) wanted her to pit on the bells and dance for him. So when Devdas comes in, she's giving him the "i told you so" face and gives him back the dancing bells. She only wants to dance for Devdas but he's still heartbroken over Paro, his childhood love who he lost due to his parents not approving their union. She was set to marry someone else by her family since his folks rejected her. It was a class/caste issue.
