Wow... Just Wow. I am a Sony APS-C User with two a6600s and one a6400 and now two ZV-E10s (one for me and one for my wife) I use my four cameras for my live streams with the Atem Mini. Thank you for this. I have recently purchased this camera and hope to get out and about filming Vlog content soon. I noticed that the majority of setup guides say to swap the video mode to manual and lock the F and shutter speed ( in most cases, leaving the ISO on auto to compensate for lighting changes). I did do this a while back when shooting on a A5100 but was disappointed when a large portion of my clips were blown out and over exposed. I suppose my question is: What can I do to prevent this when I'm out vlogging, sometimes you just need to hit record and cant spend too long setting up a custom light setup?

AutoISO can't handle the wide dynamic range of exteriors while shooting at 1/60 and a wide open aperture. You'll need an ND filter , or you will see exactly what you captured on the A5100. And sometimes you don't need a custom light setup, just a simple on-camera light with a diffusion filter.

After you fix your caps lock key, you should go get an ND filter - I don't recommend variable because of the colour shift - 3 to 5 stops should be sufficient, 10 will be too high.

An ND filter is an optional accessory that you can purchase at your local camera shop. You will need to know the filter diameter of your lens.

Hi, I found your video very helpful. But I have a question, I live in Europe so for video recording I must use PAL and my zv e10 does not have the option of 30p 50M. Would 25p 50M be fine for recording for KZbin?

While my answer is "yes" to your question - 50fps is fine - if you switch the camera to NTSC you will have the 30fps option.

@@cistaro56 First, don't buy this camera for stills. Buy another A6xxx model - like the A6100. While possibly optional for video, I feel it's necessary for stills. And you won't miss the picture profiles. As for lenses, Sony's best are full frame lenses (like the G-Master series) but they're somewhat excessive (in price, not quality) for these cameras. The 16-70 F4 (Zeiss branded) is nice - I have one. But there is now such a large selection from third parties, I'm no longer able to keep track.

The way to change the aspect ratio for video is to crop while you're editing it.

Well, if you are holding the camera, it's pretty important if it crops in or not. They are advertising it as a vlogging camera after all. Hand-held shooting is to be expected.
