Harikeshanallur Muththaiah Bhagavatar's svarajati. He was, if I am not mistaken, aasthhaana-vidvaan of the Mysore Court. I had heard this only once: in the 1970s, when MS was elected President of the music festival of Bangalore Gayana Samaja and she gave her concert in the festival. She opened the concert with this svarajati. It was thoroughly enjoyable then and it was equally so listening to it now. Thanks for posting this.

@@geethabalasupramaniyan4675 HI. When it comes to a varnam, we generally sing the swaras and repeat the charanam only. A few Kritis have sahitya for swaras after charanam, example endaro mahanubhavalu. But varnam in general, we only repeat the charanam after every swara.

This is a Daru varnam of Harikeshanallur Muthaiah Bhagavathar in Khamas, vilamba Kala adi thala, and not Swarajathi. This is composed in the praise of King Nalwadi Krishna Raja Wodeyar as well as his Aradhya daiva goddess Chamundeshwari, Mysore
